For years, Johnny Depp brought millions of fans to theaters and starred in a number of hit films, including Edward Scissorhands (1990), Ed Wood (1994), Donnie Brasco (1997), Sleepy Hollow (1999), Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), Alice in Wonderland (2010), and so many more.
For many Disney fans, Mr. Depp is most well-known for his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Depp first brought Captain Jack to life in Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl (2003). He reprised the role four more times — in Dead Man’s Chest (2006), At World’s End (2007), On Stranger Tides (2011), and in Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017).

Sadly, his career came crashing down in 2018, when his ex-wife, actress Amber Heard, accused him of severe abuse. Not only was Mr. Depp dropped by Disney, but he was also dropped by Warner Bros. and replaced as Gellert Grindelwald in the Harry Potter spinoff franchise, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
Depp sued Heard for $50 million in defamation, and was ultimately awarded more than $10 million by a Virginia jury. However, his career has yet to really recover, and he has largely stayed out of the spotlight.

Last year, Depp shocked fans when he appeared at the Cannes Film Festival, and it looked like his teeth were severely rotted. Fans immediately took to social media to voice concern about whether the actor was taking care of himself. Observers noted that his teeth appeared to be “rotting to the bone,” leading to concerns about both his health and public image.
Thankfully, it looks as though Depp has decided to take his health seriously and realized that if he wants to live a long and healthy life, he needs to take action.
An insider has revealed that Depp was compelled to seek dental work due to the high risk of serious health complications associated with poor oral hygiene. The source emphasized that the actor “had no choice” and faced potential infections or even heart disease if he failed to undergo the necessary procedures.
According to an insider, the actor “had no choice” to get a new set since his previous teeth were “rotten to the bone.”
“And his breath reeked,” the source added. “It was either veneers or risk some serious health problems, like infection and maybe even heart disease.”
The source said his old teeth were a “result of all those years of letting himself go.”
“Now he’s done the dental work, and he can smile with confidence. His choppers gleam,” the insider declared.
The insider added that the Edward Scissorhands lead recently became “hyper aware of how certain parts of his body are falling apart and now he’s mapping out a health plan.”
“He wants to build up muscle too and maybe some nip/tucks and why not? He’s finally going to do something about that pot belly, not to mention investing in some beauty rituals to polish his skin and hair and general appearance,” they noted.

The decision to install Johnny Depp’s new teeth was framed not as a cosmetic choice but rather as a critical health intervention. Following the transformation, fans expressed relief and excitement, noting his revitalized appearance and newfound smile, keen to see him looking healthier.
Earlier this month, fans were thrilled to spot Depp in the Bahamas, looking happy and healthy and sporting a brand-new, pearly white smile.
While Depp is focusing on living his best life, we do not know if that includes returning to Disney for Pirates of the Caribbean 6. Both Pirates producer Jerry Bruckheimer and writer Terri Rossio have said they would love to see Depp bring back Captain Jack. However, during his trial, Depp said that he would never return to Disney after the way he was treated, not even if he was offered $300 million and one million llamas.
