Disney Fans Rejoice: Favorite Restaurant Gets Long-Awaited Reopening Date!

For Disney fans, one of the highlights of visiting Disneyland Resort is indulging in the delicious food offerings scattered throughout the park. While traditional options like cheeseburgers and pizza are always reliable choices, there’s something extra special about the unique snacks and treats that only Disneyland can provide.

From the ever-popular pickle corn dog to the famous DOLE Whip, there’s no shortage of tempting delights.

But for many, one restaurant stands out above the rest: Jolly Holiday Bakery Café.

Inspired by the beloved Mary Poppins (1964), Jolly Holiday is known for its whimsical charm and tasty offerings. Guests flock to this bakery for everything from fresh-baked cinnamon rolls to classic grilled cheese sandwiches served with a warm bowl of tomato soup.

Don’t even get us started on the desserts — Mickey Raspberry Macarons and Matterhorn Macaroons are just a few of the mouthwatering sweets that make this spot a must-visit.

Unfortunately, just when Disneyland fans were craving their favorite treats, Jolly Holiday closed for refurbishment last month, leaving many wondering when they’d be able to satisfy their cravings once more.

But the wait is finally over—mark your calendars, because the Jolly Holiday Bakery Café is reopening on March 22, 2025!

A Long-Awaited Reopening

After weeks of uncertainty and no official reopening date, Disneyland Resort has confirmed that Jolly Holiday will be back in action starting March 22. Guests will once again be able to visit this magical, Mary Poppins-inspired café and enjoy some of the most popular menu items in the park.

It’s no surprise that Disneyland fans are thrilled about the reopening. Jolly Holiday has become a beloved staple at the resort, and whether you’re grabbing breakfast, lunch, or a sweet treat, it’s a spot that many look forward to visiting on every trip.

From the cozy atmosphere to the delicious dishes, Jolly Holiday is always a crowd-pleaser.

Temporary Breakfast Fix

While the Jolly Holiday Bakery Café was undergoing its refurbishment, Disney worked to ensure that guests still had access to breakfast options.

The nearby Refreshment Corner stepped up, offering breakfast items daily from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. In addition to their signature Spicy Firefly Chips and Cinnamon Roll Pretzel, guests could enjoy bacon, egg, and cheese croissants, blueberry muffins, and even the iconic Matterhorn Macaroons.

Though Refreshment Corner has certainly been a great option, it’s just not quite the same as the Jolly Holiday experience.

Now, with the reopening date officially set, many Disney fans are wondering what changes, if any, will come to Jolly Holiday. Will there be new menu items or updates to the restaurant’s décor?

A Sweet Return to the Magic

While it’s been a bit disappointing not to be able to enjoy the full Jolly Holiday experience during its closure, the reopening of this fan-favorite café marks a return to one of Disneyland’s most charming and delicious spots.

Whether you’re in the mood for a comforting grilled cheese, a sweet treat, or just a cozy place to rest after a busy morning in the park, Jolly Holiday is sure to deliver.

So, don’t forget to mark your calendars for March 22! It won’t be long before you can once again step into the world of Mary Poppins and enjoy all your favorite Jolly Holiday delights.
