Jurassic World Rebirth may have divided critics, but the film still roared its way to $862 million globally, proving there’s plenty of bite left in Universal’s long-running franchise.
Scarlett Johansson, who headlined the film alongside Jonathan Bailey and Mahershala Ali, described the project as “its own piece” rather than the beginning of another arc.

Director Gareth Edwards and producers Frank Marshall and Steven Spielberg approached Rebirth as a standalone reset, yet a new report from Daniel Richtman (via SFFGazette.com) suggest that Universal is already eyeing another sequel with Johansson back in the lead.
Given the studio’s track record — and the size of the box office haul — it’s hard to imagine dinosaurs staying in their cages for long.

But the Jurassic brand is no longer just about movies. Fans have an entire slate of projects arriving within the next year. On the gaming side, “Jurassic World Evolution 3” launches October 21, building on the beloved park-management formula.
Then there’s “Jurassic Park: Survival”, a story-driven action-adventure from Saber Interactive, which casts players as InGen scientist Dr. Maya Joshi (Payal Mistry) as she struggles to escape Isla Nublar following the 1993 disaster.

Netflix’s Jurassic World: Chaos Theory returns for Season 4 on November 20, bringing back the “Nublar Six” and tying directly into the events of Jurassic World Dominion (2022). The series has carved out its own following as one of the boldest expansions of the lore outside of film.
While Universal hasn’t officially announced another movie, Rebirth’s financial success and ongoing fan engagement across multiple platforms make the franchise’s future clear.
The big screen may still be debating where to go next, but between survival horror gameplay, park simulators, and serialized storytelling, Jurassic fans will have no shortage of dinosaurs to keep them thrilled.

Chaos Theory seasons 1–4 are now streaming on Netflix.
Jurassic World Rebirth is now available to watch at home. The film stars Scarlett Johansson (Avengers: Endgame), Jonathan Bailey (Bridgerton), Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (The Lincoln Lawyer), Rupert Friend (Obi-Wan Kenobi), Mahershala Ali (The Green Book), Luna Blaise (Manifest), David Iacono (Dead Boy Detectives), Audrina Miranda (Lopez vs Lopez), Philippine Velge (Station Eleven), Bechir Sylvain (BMF), and Ed Skrein (Deadpool).
