We love visiting Walt Disney World during EPCOT’s annual festivals, and today we are excited to share that the dates for the 2022 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts have officially been released!

The next EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will take place January 14-February 21, 2022.

While we have seen EPCOT festivals over the past almost two years run with modifications due to the impacts of COVID-19 on the theme parks, we have one exciting piece of returning to normalcy to share for the next Festival of the Arts- The Disney on Broadway Concert Series will (finally) return to the America Gardens Theatre outside of the American Adventure pavilion in World Showcase.

We do not yet have details for all of this year’s performers, but we are thrilled to see this tradition return for the 2022 festival. Past festivals during the COVID-19 pandemic have featured musical acts from around World Showcase performing in the theatre. Doing so has been helpful for allowing spacing for Guests when that was a top priority, and without the outside bands and artists returning it was a way to keep the musical side of festivals going. Acts like Mariachi Cobre and the Voices of Liberty are expecting to continue performing during the Festival of the Arts, likely in their original venues.

Per the Disney Parks Blog, the 2022 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will include:

  • Culinary delights from Food Studios around World Showcase
  • The Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine – a fun food stroll featuring five delicious sweet and savory treats
  • Chalk artists turning walkways into stunning landscapes and portraits
  • Photo ops where you can step into famous artwork
  • A paint-by-number mural
  • Figment’s Brush with the Masters scavenger hunt
  • Performance and visual artists
  • Special festival merchandise

As with any festival in EPCOT, valid theme park admission and a park reservation for the date of your visit is required to attend. We will be back with more details on this year’s event, including performers, additional dates, and special events as we near January.
