A new fast and healthy dining option is coming soon to Disney Springs! Beginning in March 2022, Guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort will be able to find a healthier twist on fast food with vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian menu items at the newest food truck to arrive at Disney Springs, Local Green Atlanta.
Local Green Atlanta focuses on nutrient-rich fruits and vegetables, offering Guests a quick and affordable way to pick up some healthy yet delicious eats. The restaurant currently has one other location in Atlanta’s Westside neighborhood, where the community is at the heart of the entire business. A small business with such notable values and a focus on fresh eats will certainly be welcome at Disney Springs when the new food truck opens this March.
In showcasing the Local Green Atlanta’s commitment to surrounding communities, the restaurant’s website shares the following insight into the company:
A lack of access to fresh and wholesome foods is strongly correlated to higher rates of diabetes and other chronic conditions. Our mission is to reduce health disparities in underserved populations by providing healthier food choices to communities who need it most.
While a finalized menu has not yet been published for the new Disney Springs location, a sampling of the items served by the restaurant include air-fried Cajun seasoned fries, grilled salmon and veggie dishes, Beyond cheeseburgers, salads, and more.
The new Disney Springs location will open as a good truck on the West Side with a rotating selection of items available alongside Disney-operated and additional third-party restaurants’ trucks. The food trucks offer an affordable alternative to many of the table service and even some quick service dining locations at Disney Springs, so it will certainly be nice to see something both healthy and affordable join the current dining lineup.
