The Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort has been welcoming lots of new shops and experiences. The Pelé Soccer store recently opened, offering soccer gear, accessories, and customized and team jerseys inspired by Pele, the legendary soccer player from Brazil. On the east end of Downtown Disney, Guests can also find Post 21, a kiosk specializing in a curated selection of merchandise created by Black-owned businesses. And, for a uniquely Star Wars photo op while in Disney Springs, Guests can head over to the Star Wars Trading Post and pose for a photo on Boba Fett’s throne.

Another new store, Lovepop Downtown Disney, is opening soon at the Disneyland Resort. Lovepop is a go-to destination for eclectic stationery, cards, and gifts with many of the shop’s items being created through a combination of laser cut technology and kirigami, and ancient art form that uses intricate cuts in the paper to create beautiful pieces rather than folding. We are especially excited to see the shop’s 3D pop up cards arrive at the Downtown Disney District.

When it opens soon at Downtown Disney, Lovepop will offer Guests over 400 different designs in their art and cards, so every occasion can be a magical one! The store will also feature a selection of Disney cards and gifts that will only be available at this location.

We do not have an official opening date yet, but Lovepop is definitely coming soon and we will keep you updated here on Disney Fanatic as we learn more. And, if you are a Southern California resident, be sure to take a look this post to check out upcoming special offers for Disneyland for three-day midweek park tickets for either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure and savings on the cost of nights at Disneyland Resort hotels with dates available beginning in early 2022 and running through the spring.
