Walt Disney World continues to add more ways for guests to enhance their vacations—and spend more money while doing it.
The latest example comes from Magic Kingdom, where one of Disney's most expensive seasonal add-ons is returning alongside Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Starting August 7, guests attending the popular Halloween event will once again have the option to purchase Disney's Halloween Fireworks Dessert Party. While the experience has become a familiar offering over the years, its current pricing is drawing renewed attention.
The premium version now starts at $124 per adult.

Halloween Season Is Almost Here
Even though summer is still underway, Walt Disney World is already preparing for Halloween.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party returns to Magic Kingdom on August 7, bringing with it exclusive entertainment, Halloween-themed food, trick-or-treat stations, character meet-and-greets, and Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks.
For many guests, the party itself is enough.
Others, however, are looking for a more exclusive experience.
That's where Disney's dessert parties come into play.
The offering combines a dedicated fireworks viewing location with a buffet of desserts and beverages, creating a more upscale way to experience one of the party's biggest entertainment offerings.
A Growing List of Premium Upgrades
The return of the dessert party fits into a larger strategy Disney has embraced in recent years.
Today's guests can choose from a long list of optional upgrades. Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Lightning Lane Single Pass attractions, VIP Tours, after-hours events, dining packages, cabanas, and special experiences all provide opportunities to spend more for additional convenience.
The Halloween dessert party joins that growing collection.
What makes this offering stand out is the cost.
At $124 per adult and $74 per child for the Tomorrowland Terrace option, the dessert party quickly becomes one of the most expensive single-night add-ons available during the Halloween season.
For a family, the total can climb rapidly before even accounting for party admission.
More Than Just Dessert
While the price may seem steep at first glance, Disney is selling more than sweets.
Guests receive access to a buffet that typically includes seasonal desserts, fruit selections, cheeses, and specialty beverages. Adults can also enjoy beer and wine offerings.
The real value, however, comes from the viewing experience.
Fireworks crowds during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party can become intense, especially on sold-out nights. Securing a good viewing location often requires guests to arrive early and dedicate valuable party time to holding a spot.

Dessert party attendees bypass much of that challenge through access to reserved viewing areas.
For some visitors, that convenience alone is worth paying extra.
Disney Knows Guests Will Pay for Convenience
One of the biggest shifts in Walt Disney World over the past decade has been Disney's willingness to create premium tiers of experiences.
Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all vacation, Disney now gives guests numerous opportunities to purchase additional perks.
The Halloween dessert party may be one of the clearest examples.
Guests can absolutely enjoy Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party without spending an extra dollar. But for those seeking a less stressful fireworks experience, Disney has positioned the dessert party as a premium solution.
Whether that solution is worth $124 per adult depends on each guest's priorities.
Reservations Are Already Open
Guests interested in booking the experience can already make reservations, and history suggests availability may not last forever.
Dessert parties have frequently sold out during busy seasonal events, particularly around Halloween and Christmas.
As August 7 approaches, Disney appears confident that plenty of guests will be willing to pay for reserved fireworks viewing, specialty treats, and a little extra comfort during one of the busiest times of the year.
For Disney, it's another premium offering added to an already growing list of vacation upgrades.
For guests, it's one more decision to make when determining just how much magic they're willing to pay for.
