Major Attraction at Walt Disney World Will Have an Age Policy

Disney Springs has become one of the most popular areas of Walt Disney World, offering a wide range of dining, shopping, and entertainment options.

Whether you’re visiting after a long day in the parks or just looking for something fun to do without a theme park ticket, Disney Springs delivers plenty of activities. Now, another attraction is set to join the lineup, bringing an interactive gaming experience unlike anything else on Disney property.

Level99 Confirms Age Restrictions

Level99, a social gaming venue that blends physical and mental challenges, has officially confirmed its age policy for the Disney Springs location. While designed primarily for adults, kids and teens can still participate under specific guidelines.

  • Guests 10 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult at all times.
  • Guests 11 to 15 can explore independently as long as an adult is present in the venue and reachable by phone.
  • Groups larger than six must split into smaller teams, with each team requiring at least one adult supervisor.

Level99 describes itself as an “adult playground,” meaning that while kids are welcome, some of the games may be too physically or mentally challenging for younger participants.

Taking Over the Former NBA Experience

The addition of Level99 is significant because it will be taking over the space that once housed the NBA Experience, which shut down permanently in 2021. Before that, the location was home to DisneyQuest, a fan-favorite interactive arcade that operated for nearly two decades. While DisneyQuest had a strong following, its closure led to a brief stint for the NBA Experience, which struggled to gain popularity.

Level99 hopes to succeed where the NBA Experience did not, offering a more universally appealing attraction. Unlike its predecessor, which catered specifically to basketball fans, Level99 offers a wide variety of team-based challenges that can appeal to both locals and tourists looking for an engaging way to spend a few hours.

A New Form of Entertainment at Disney Springs

With Level99’s official age policy in place, Disney Springs is about to gain a fresh form of entertainment that encourages teamwork and strategy. While it won’t be for everyone, it provides a new alternative for visitors seeking something interactive and competitive. Before planning a visit, families should keep the age restrictions in mind to ensure all members of their group can participate.
