Mickey and Minnie Get a Makeover; Is This the Right Choice?

Disneyland Resort is ready to deck the halls with a festive twist for the 2025 holiday season. As part of their ongoing 70th Anniversary celebration, the resort will roll out new holiday looks for Mickey and Minnie Mouse that put a seasonal spin on their iconic anniversary outfits. The duo’s updated ensembles will make their debut when the Holidays at Disneyland Resort kicks off on November 14, 2025, and will run until January 7, 2026.

A Seasonal Spin

These updated outfits incorporate rich reds, greens, and golds, reflecting the warmth and joy of the season. Minnie’s ensemble features a red and gold fitted coat paired with a multitiered skirt, complemented by cranberry tights with gold stripes and a colorful bow. She finishes the look with a small jacket adorned with a jeweled diamond clasp. Mickey, on the other hand, dons a red and green striped coat with gold accents, along with a green vest and maroon pants, topped off with a festive Mickey Santa hat.

These fresh looks for Mickey and Minnie are just one highlight of Disneyland’s “Celebrate Happy!” theme for its 70th Anniversary. New attractions, parades, themed decorations, and special shows have already been added throughout the park. A standout is the “Celebrate Happy Cavalcade” on Main Street, where Mickey and Minnie, along with other classic characters, will be seen in their festive attire. Additionally, guests can experience “Tapestry of Happiness,” a stunning five-minute projection show at the iconic “it’s a small world” ride, which celebrates Disneyland’s 70-year legacy.

The Countdown Begins

As the holiday season draws near, Disneyland Resort will transform into a winter wonderland. “Guests can look forward to a sparkling winter wonderland at Disneyland Resort, where joy and tradition come to life around every corner,” says the park. The magic includes dazzling shows, intricate décor, and a wide array of seasonal treats. Special food items, such as peppermint churros, along with holiday-themed photo ops, are sure to create an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages.

Mickey and Minnie’s new outfits are just the beginning.
