More ‘Moana’ Is on Its Way to Walt Disney World Resort

Walt Disney World Resort fans, get ready—more Moana magic is on its way! As part of the 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, a brand-new, limited-time photo opportunity inspired by Disney’s beloved Moana (2016) will be making its grand debut.

This exciting addition will replace last year’s step-in photo op inspired by Wish (2023). For Disney Parks fans who love immersive experiences, this Moana-themed art installation promises to be a highlight of the upcoming festival season.

The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts has become a fan-favorite celebration of creativity, and 2025 is shaping up to be no exception. Walt Disney World Resort guests will once again enjoy a vibrant mix of stunning artwork, interactive exhibits, and hands-on workshops that let them channel their inner artists.

Festival-goers can participate in professional artist-led workshops that cover a wide range of artistic styles and techniques, perfect for anyone looking to learn something new. Meanwhile, live street performances and artist demonstrations will bring the World Showcase to life, offering entertainment and inspiration around every corner.

But it wouldn’t be a Disney festival without food! Moana Joins the Walt Disney World Resort Festival Lineup

One of the 2025 festival’s all-new features is the Moana-themed photo opportunity. This immersive, step-in art installation will be located near Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, in EPCOT’s World Nature neighborhood. Guests can snap a picture that transports them directly into Moana’s vibrant world.

Iconic Photo Ops Returning to EPCOT

  • “Luncheon of the Boating Party” near the International Gateway
  • “Washington Crossing the Delaware” at the American Adventure Pavilion
  • “Mona Lisa” between the Italy and Germany Pavilions

Disney fans can also look forward to photo ops featuring beloved characters like Mary Poppins and Sleeping Beauty, which will once again grace the bridge to World Showcase.
