Two international beverage flavors that vanished from Club Cool at EPCOT over a month ago have finally returned to the self-serve machines. However, Central Florida Disney Park guests hunting for another flavor will still need to shop around.
What Went Missing in March
In March, three international soda flavors disappeared from the Coca-Cola-sponsored complimentary tasting experience. Maid Joy Apple Lychee from Korea and Country Club Merengue from the Dominican Republic went offline entirely, while Sprite Cucumber from Russia was available at some machines and missing from others. Around the same time, the clear Coca-Cola-branded plastic cups at the self-serve stations were swapped out for opaque cups with no branding.
Walt Disney World Resort offered no explanation for any of it.
Flavors & More Return to Club Cool at EPCOT
WDWNT reported on April 28 that the two flavors that were fully absent have returned. Maid Joy Apple Lychee and Country Club Merengue are once again available at all self-serve fountain beverage stations. The branded Coca-Cola plastic cups are back as well, restoring the full Club Cool presentation that guests expect from one of the few genuinely free tasting experiences at Walt Disney World Resort.
The one holdout is Sprite Cucumber, which is still missing from at least one fountain beverage machine. Walt Disney World Resort guests who want to try the Russian cucumber-flavored soda can still find it; they may just need to try a different station. Since none of the international flavors are completely gone, the full tasting experience remains intact…with a bit of extra patience required.
Walt Disney World Resort has not commented publicly on the supply disruptions or their resolution.
