New LEGO Star Wars Game Coming Soon to Apple Arcade

Disney recently announced a brand new LEGO Star Wars game will soon be coming to Apple Arcade!

The all-new game, LEGO Star Wars: Castaways will launch November 19, 2021, following a long line of successful LEGO Star Wars video games. (The first LEGO Star Wars games appeared so long ago that they were initially released on PlayStation2, Xbox, and GameCube!

Since those days, the LEGO Star Wars universe has expanded so much in terms of storytelling in each game. We’ve already seen LEGO Star Wars games cover events and characters from the Original Trilogy, the Clone Wars, and The Force Awakens. A game aptly named LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is already reportedly in the works to bring the LEGO Star Wars video game universe up to where the latest movie left off with fans.

LEGO Star Wars: Castaways will be a spin-off adventure breaking away from the classic Star Wars storytelling and it will offer never before seen customization options and activities for players when it launches next month. Castaways will be the first social action-adventure game in the current series of LEGO Star Wars games and in addition to building and customizing your own LEGO characters, the game is set to include race sequences and opportunities to play with friends.

The customization options available in LEGO Star Wars: Castaways will exceed any available options promoted in earlier games with hundreds of items to choose from. The ability to interact with other players through the newly designed social hub will also make the game more interactive than previous versions of LEGO Star Wars games.

LEGO Star Wars: Castaways will be arriving exclusively to Apple Arcade on November 19. (Apple Arcade means players will need to use an iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV in order to access the game.) There is no word at this time on if LEGO Star Wars: Castaways will be available later on other devices, but we will update with that information if we learn more.
