Now Open! Tenaya Stone Spa at Disney’s Grand Californian Resort & Spa

The Disney Parks Blog just shared the news that the brand new Tenaya Spa at Disney’s Grand Californian Resort is now open!

Guests visiting the Disneyland Resort will now be able to take advantages of spa services at this newly designed full-service spa. While designing the site, Imagineers looked to nature and Indigenous cultures from California for inspiration, along with the already memorable design work found throughout Disney’s Grand Californian Resort.

We would be fascinated on our next visit simply by the attention to detail in the design alone, but we definitely need to share which services are available here, too! The spa is full service, and will feature a wide variety of full body treatments, massage and salon services. Some of the spa’s more exclusive services include the Tenaya River Stone Massage, Head, Hands & Feet With Heart Massage, Wild Honey and Mud Body Renewal, Step in Time Food Massage, and the Avocado Lime & Honey Foot Massage, in addition to the rest of their very full service menu.

The new spa also comes with access to a relaxation lounge, men’s and women’s changing rooms and a retail boutique in addition to their eight treatment rooms and two rooms for couples massages.

If you are new to spa services and feeling intimidated by them a great way to start is with a simple manicure or facial. And it’s a nice way to add something a little luxurious to a quick Disney trip, and relieve some stress!

Appointments are available now for Disneyland Resort hotel Guests, but the spa will be open to the general public at some time in the future. Masks are currently required while in the spa and indoors at the Disneyland Resort, for all Guests, regardless of one’s vaccination status. Be sure to do your research on current health and safety guidelines before visiting Disneyland if you are used to Walt Disney World as some things may be different, and visit disneyland.com/TenayaStoneSpa for complete information the spa.
