Our Favorite 5 Counter Service Restaurants at Epcot

Sunshine Seasons

When you think about dining options at Epcot, you probably immediately start thinking about all of the table service restaurants there are to choose from in the World Showcase: Le Cellier, Chefs de France, Biergarten, or Via Napoli. However, there are great counter service options for guests to enjoy as well! Here are our favorite five counter service restaurants at Epcot!

5 – Lotus Blossom Café – this counter service option is located in China on your left as you pass by Nine Dragons. We love stopping here as were are walking around World Showcase because we can get great snacks or a small meal and enjoy it in an open-air dining room. The egg rolls and pot stickers here are great and all of the entreés on the menu are reasonably priced for diners who are on a budget. We also enjoy the variety of teas, smoothies, and adult beverages that are for sale here.

4 – Yorkshire County Fish Shop – if you are craving food from Rose and Crown and the line is too long, head to the Yorkshire County Fish Shop. This stand is located across from the meet and greet with Alice and it offers the classic British fare in fish and chips. They also have some great desserts and you can grab your favorite pints here, as well!

3 – La Cantina de San Angel – usually our first stop as we are walking around World Showcase, guests can enjoy a variety of Mexican drinks from cerveza to an array of margaritas. All of your Mexican favorites are available here – tacos, empanadas, guacamole, and nachos! Much like Lotus Blossom Café, La Cantina is a GREAT choice because you can have a seat in the outdoor dining room and enjoy a magnificent view across the World Showcase Lagoon. It can also be a great spot to watch IllumiNations from!

2 – Katsura Grill – this wonderful dining spot is hidden in the back of Japan and many guests are unaware that it is there, but it allows guests to sample a variety of sushi, udon, and teriyaki meals. After grabbing your food, there is a small seating area for you to sample the food or you can walk around the pavilion listen to the drummers or look at the koi pond that is back near the restaurant.

1 – Sunshine Seasons – located on the first floor of the Land Pavilion, Sunshine Seasons offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner with an amazing flair. This is far from your traditional theme park food of hamburgers and hot dogs – you can have spicy fish tacos, Asian shrimp stir-fry, sweet and sour chicken, or even a pork chop. It is set-up as a food court, so you can walk around and take a look at everything they have before having to make a decision. Some of the ingredients for the dishes here are cultivated on property and in the Land Pavilion.

If you don’t have the time to enjoy a meal a table service restaurant in Epcot, try one of these fantastic counter service options. They offer food that is on par with the sit down restaurants, but at a fraction of the cost. What is your favorite counter service restaurant to visit when you’re at Epcot?
