Planning a Spectacular Day At Disney’s Boardwalk Inn and Villas

When one imagines spending their vacation at Walt Disney World, theme parks, rides, and shows may all come to mind at first. But, did you know that there’s even more to do and see at the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels? In fact, you don’t have to set foot in a park to have a magical Disney day with your family and friends. With its own shopping and dining area, and tons of activities to try, Disney’s Boardwalk Inn and Villas makes for a great place to spend a relaxing day away from the hustle and bustle of the parks. Here are some of our favorite things to do!

Enjoy a Pool Day

If the Orlando sun has been too much to handle, have a pool day and relax! Disney’s Boardwalk Inn is home to Luna Park Pool, which is inspired by an Atlantic City amusement park at the turn-of-the-century. A 200-foot water slide designed to look like a roller coaster and circus elephant statues spraying water from their trunks make for great entertainment for the kids, while parents can enjoy lounging around or taking a dip in nearby leisure pools. If you’re looking for a fun and themed pool day, this is the place for you!

Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Mini Golf

Mini golf fans and fans of the Disney classicFantasia will adore this 18-hole mini golf experience that is fun for the whole family! Located near Disney’s Swan Hotel, this unique attraction is just a short walk from the excitement on the Boardwalk, and perfect for some friendly competition with your family and friends.

Rent a Surrey Bike

Need to get a little exercise while you explore the Boardwalk? Take a surrey bike around the area to see more of the sights while giving your walking shoes a little rest for a while. Surrey bikes are available for two or four person groups to enjoy more of the sights! Be sure to talk to the cast members at the Boardwalk Inn and Villas for more information on bike rentals.
