Port Orleans French Quarter and Riverside Dining Guide

River Roost Lounge

While these two resorts are separate, their close proximity to one another essentially makes this one giant resort.  Guests can easily walk between to two resorts or use convenient boat transportation that ferries guests back and forth to Disney Springs. Additionally, during slow times of the year, the two resorts will share bus transportation, so it can be easy to jump off at one or the other if you want to sample the delectable food that each resort offers.  Here is what guests can expect to find at both of these resorts!

1. Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory (French Quarter)

The food court operating at French Quarter invites guests to enjoy food here from 6 AM to midnight.  At breakfast guests can find traditional breakfast options like buttermilk pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, as well as Mickey waffles, a breakfast flatbread, plus local favorites of a Cajun grit bowl served with shrimp, vegetables, a savory cream sauce.  The real draw here are the dessert-for-breakfast beignets sprinkled with powdered sugar! You can even make this dessert sweeter with a selection of dipping sauces!  Lunch and dinner features the same menu where guests can find a variety of burgers and a chicken sandwich, but also enjoy a personalized rice bowl with your choice of meat, beans, and rice.  Guests can also enjoy jambalaya, fried chicken, and barbecued ribs with homestyle sides!  If you missed the beignets at breakfast, no need to worry, you can get them all day, in addition to cookies, mini-pies, and other sweet treats!

2. River Roost Lounge (Riverside)

The relaxed lounge at Riverside serves guests every afternoon beginning at 5 PM and invites them to kick back while enjoying live entertainment and a selection of bar bites to satiate any appetite. Guests can chow down on a burger topped with a bacon jam and a garlic aioli, feisty pimento cheese fritters, potato puffs topped with pulled pork, beer cheese, and fresh pico de gallo, wings served with fried pickles and a savory ranch sauce, as well as Southern fish and chips, as well as Hummingbird cake — pineapple and banana cake! In addition to this menu, guests can refresh with signature cocktails and a selection of draft beers.

3. Riverside Mill Food Court (Riverside)

Regardless of the time of days, guests will find a great entrée to dine on.  In addition to your traditional selections, guests can have a fried chicken biscuit drizzled with honey, grilled steak and eggs, a customized omelet, or savory grits.  At lunch and dinner, guests will find a burger topped with chopped prime rib and a beer fondue, a cajun chicken sandwich, a variety of flatbreads, multiple sandwiches with cajun spices and flavor.  Save some room for the cookies, cupcakes, brownies, and cakes that you’ll find for dessert!
