Kim Kardashian Reveals Disney Star Made Her Cry

For nearly forty years, one of the funniest actors around was comedian Robin Williams. In 1978, Williams shot into the spotlight when he starred in the hit ABC television show Mork & Mindy, alongside Pam Dawber. In the show, Williams played Mork, an alien who comes to Earth to learn about humans, with the help of his new friend, Mindy. Of course, no one can know that Mork is not human.

After that, Williams starred in a number of wildly successful films and television shows. Some of Williams’ most notable performances were in Good Morning, Vietnam (1987), Dead Poets Society (1989), Hook (1991), Mrs. Doubtfire (1993), Jumanji (1995), Good Will Hunting (1997), and The Birdcage (1996). In 1992, Williams made his most significant mark on Disney when he voiced the Genie in the Oscar-winning film, Aladdin.

In 1994, Disney released the sequel to Aladdin — Aladdin 2: The Return of Jafar. Sadly, Williams did not return for the sequel film. According to reports, Williams had told Disney that they were not to use his voice for any marketing campaigns. Disney breached that agreement, which resulted in a falling out between the two. Thankfully, Disney made things right and Williams returned for Aladdin and the King of Thieves, which was released in 1996.

While there are so many people who loved and adored Robin Williams, there is one person who was not his biggest fan. That would be businesswoman and socialite, Kim Kardashian.

Kardashian shot to fame in 2007 when a sex tape she made with famous singer Ray J was leaked to the media. From there, Kardashian used her notoriety to launch a number of businesses and a popular reality show.

In 2013, Kardashian attended the well-known and glamorous Met Gala in New York City. The Met Gala is known for the stunning outfits that attendees wear, always trying to make headlines. Kardashian made headlines, but not for the best reasons. The heavily pregnant reality star wore a flower print gown that covered her from her neck to her feet. It even had attached gloves that covered her hands in the bold print.

Not long after Kardashian’s floral dress began going viral, Williams tweeted a picture of Kardashian next to a photo of him dressed in a flower dress in Mrs. Doubtfire.

I think I wore it better!

The tweet recently came back into the spotlight when it was mentioned on the reality show, The Kardashians, on Hulu. In a recent episode, Kardashian is talking to her 10-year-old daughter, North West, who said that she didn’t like her mom’s dress. Then, in a private interview, Kardashian revealed that she cried when she first saw it.

“I cried when Robin Williams roasted me and posted, ‘Who wore it better?’ Me and Mrs. Doubtfire. I cried when I got home, but now I love it.”

Sadly, Williams ended his life on August 11, 2014. When the autopsy was performed, it was revealed that Williams suffered from Lewy Body Dementia, which was originally diagnosed as Parkinson’s. Aladdin and Aladdin and the King of Thieves were not the only times that Williams worked with Disney. In 1997, he starred as Professor Philip Brainard in the film Flubber.

Robins was back at Disney in 2006 when he starred alongside Ben Stiller in the fun movie Night at the Museum, where he played US President Teddy Roosevelt. He was back as President Roosevelt in 2014 for Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb.

Most recently, Disney honored Williams when they used old audio footage they had to recreate the Genie for its newest short, Once Upon a Studio, which honors the company’s 100th anniversary.
