7.Space Mountain

Space Mountain is the oldest mountain in Magic Kingdom. It takes you on a spaceship ride through the galaxy filled with twists and turns a plenty! It’s definitely the most thrilling of all the mountains. The darkness plays a big part in that!

6. Splash Mountain

Inspired by the movie Song of the South, this ride takes you on a journey with Br’er Rabbit and friends. You’ll spend the majority of the time slowly floating from scene to scene with catchy tunes filling the air. But don’t let the tranquil boat ride fool you, you are in for a big “splash” at the end! You’ll plunge 52 feet down into the Briar Patch! Beware; Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah will be stuck in your head all day!

5. Big Thunder Mountain

Located in Frontierland, you will journey through the mountains on a search for gold in an abandoned gold mine. Filled with fun dips and turns, it’s actually a tad bit faster than Space Mountain. Since it is outside and not in complete darkness, it doesn’t seem as scary. It’s the perfect coaster for a first timer!

4. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

This is the newest member of the Disney World roller coaster family! It’s similar to Big Thunder Mountain in thrill and speed, but really takes on a personality of its own with the dark ride portion. You will see Disney Imagineering at its finest when you enter the mine and see the seven dwarfs at work. It really ups the game for all other rides!

You’ll speed through capability tests, responsiveness, and speed checks. You’ll then be able to see how your car did in comparison to everyone else’s!

1. Rock n’ Roller Coaster

Is there really anything better than a super fast roller coaster mixed with wild rock music? Didn’t think so. Join Aerosmith on a wild journey to make it to their show on time accompanied with rockin’ music and a giant stretch limo. But beware; this ride isn’t for the faint of heart! You’ll experience drops and loops galore!
