Secret Exit to Pirates of the Caribbean Revealed

Frontierland retheme at Magic Kingdom

It looks like even a nearly 60-year-old attraction can still provide Disney Park Guests with something new without requiring updates or refurbishments.

An alternate exit to Walt Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean attraction at Magic Kingdom Park was revealed by TikToker @magicbandsandtrashcans, who said:

“Another Pro Tip from Magic Kingdom! Also helpful if you have a service dog!”

Officially marked as an alternative way for handicapped Guests to get back to Adventureland via an elevator, this route also includes stairs and a rather private walk around a side of the building to the gift shop. As he says in the video, this exit does provide some peace and space in the otherwise crowded shops and thoroughfares of Adventureland.

Other Disney fans commented their own surprise at this tip as well.

One commenter said, “It’s rare that I learn something new from Distok videos…”

Another admitted, “I worked there and never knew.”

However, there might be some discrepancy as to the validity of this new hack due to one person commenting, “Nah I got yelled at when I tried to take the stairs!”

Pirates of the Caribbean continues to be an Adventureland staple at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Park. Disney World describes the attraction on its website as the following:

A Pirate’s Life for You

Board a weathered barge for a treacherous voyage to the 17th century, when rowdy rogues and ruthless rapscallions ransacked Caribbean seaport towns. Sing along as pirates serenade you with their anthem, “Yo Ho, Yo Ho (A Pirate’s Life for Me).”

Sail past haunted Dead Man’s Cove. Navigate cannon fire between a Caribbean fort and a striking 12-gun galleon. Behold boisterous buccaneers drunk on the spoils of plunderin’ as flames engulf a seaside town.

Be sure to keep a spry eye out for Captain Jack Sparrow, from The Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Ye beware, mateys: Dead men tell no tales!
