Sheriff Reportedly Arrives on the Scene After Disney World Ride Shuts Down

A Disney guest reported that local authorities were escorted to the entrance of an Avatar ride in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park in Walt Disney World after the ride was shut down.

The Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort are known to be some of the best spots in the world for a Disney vacation. From the amazing rides and attractions like Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom Park and Disneyland Park to lands like Pandora in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure Park, there’s a lot to love!

Avatar Ride in Disney World Reportedly Shuts Down, Sheriffs Arrive on the Scene

Things do go awry at the Disney Parks, though. While “The Most Magical Place on Earth” has earned its moniker in spades, sometimes, untoward events happen at any Disney Park. Guests have been known to behave badly; occasionally, even cast members have reportedly not behaved in the most acceptable of ways.

This story is of a similar account. Recently, a guest took to social media to ask if anybody knew why “the avatar ride has shut and the sheriff’s got escorted up to the entrance?”

While there has been no official word from the Walt Disney Company and Walt Disney World on the alleged incident, guests speculated about what could have happened and caused the sheriff to be “escorted” to the entrance.

One commented, “As much as we want it to be something juicy, it’s probably just an unruly guest.”

Another agreed, “Someone was acting a fool.”

One fellow Disney fan shared a similar experience they had at the Disney Parks as well,

They came and took someone from Le Cellier when I was dining there. Dude had been drinking around the world, security told me when it reaches the point of you’re leaving the entire resort and not just a “time to cool off a minute” situation they’ll call for more than just FCB security.

If I had to guess someone had a bit to much to drink or snapped under the Disney stress and took it to far.

They’ll have to get them out of there then run their protocol and open it back up.

It’s important to note this is a guest’s account of what happened at the parks and has not been confirmed by Disney at the time of writing this article.
