In case you are unfamiliar, Life Day is an essential holiday in the ‘Star Wars’ Universe. It is comparable to our own winter holidays, and serves as a celebration of Wookiee culture along with values and peace within the galaxy.

For years, ‘Star Wars’ fans have been unofficially celebrating Life Day by creating their own ornaments and decorations, and it seems this year, the Walt Disney Company and Lucasfilm are excited to get in on the fun as StarWars.com just shared that we are seeing the first ever ‘Star Wars’ Life Day collection of official merchandise.

This brand new holiday collection offers something for ‘Star Wars’ fans of every taste and interest with plushes of iconic characters like Chewbacca, orb-shaped mugs, comfortable robes, ornaments and more. (I for one, am always in the market for new Disney or ‘Star Wars’ coffee mugs!)

Additional items will be released as part of the collection only in select locations at the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort (while StarWars.com did not share exact location details, we believe in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge as well as in other ‘Star Wars’-specific merchandise locations around both properties.

The collection launches today, November 17, 2021 and will be available both in Disney theme parks and on shopdisney.com while supplies last. Some of these items would make great gifts for any ‘Star Wars’ fans you might be shopping for this holiday season, so we recommend ordering sooner rather than later to ensure you do not miss out!
