Imagine this: Spider-Man, a hero who’s faced villains from Green Goblin to Mysterio, now finds himself hunted by a Predator. Thanks to Disney’s ever-growing library, this isn’t just a wild fan theory– the crossover comic “Predator vs. Spider-Man” from Marvel Comics is officially on its way, and fans couldn’t be more excited.

Disney’s journey into the Predator universe began with Prey (2022), a Hulu/Disney+ hit that delivered the franchise’s best entry since the original 1987 classic. Meanwhile, Spider-Man has flourished under Disney and Marvel Studios, with Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) becoming one of the highest-grossing films of all time and the Spider-Verse movies redefining animated superhero cinema.

Now, Disney is bringing these iconic characters together in a crossover comic slated for 2025. The cover art teases an epic battle, with Spider-Man squaring off against a Predator high above the streets of New York City. While details remain scarce, fans of “Predator vs. Black Panther.” know the stakes are high. That series ended with the Predators acquiring Vibranium—a game-changer for their deadly arsenal. Could Spider-Man face a foe more dangerous than ever?

Behind the story are writer Benjamin Percy and artist Marcelo Ferreira, both veterans of Marvel’s recent Predator crossovers. Their expertise ensures this clash will be one for the ages. Curious? Check out the cover reveal on ComicBook.com.

Beyond this comic, both franchises have a busy slate. Spider-Man fans can look forward to Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, Sony’s Kraven the Hunter, and whispers of a live-action Miles Morales film. The Predator universe is equally stacked, with a Prey sequel, Predator: Badlands, and a secret project set for 2025.

While comics offer limitless creative possibilities, the idea of a live-action crossover between Spidey and Predator isn’t entirely far-fetched. Until then, Spider-Man fans can take comfort in Peter Parker’s resilience. The Predator may be fearsome, but Spidey’s ingenuity has seen him through worse.
