Recently fans took to social media to share some of their top pet peeves, particularly with respect to guest behavior at the Walt Disney World Resort.

For many Disney fans, going to the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort in Southern California is a dream come true. Either Disney Resort offers an unparalleled experience immersed in Disney magic.

Experiencing iconic attractions such as Space Mountain in Magic Kingdom Park or Disneyland Park and exploring captivating themed lands like Pandora at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park or the thrilling Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure Park truly encapsulates the essence of Disney’s enchanting world.

Each visit is a journey filled with endless wonders and unforgettable moments, making it a haven for those seeking a magical escape into the realm of Disney.

However, not all guests can attest to having that magical experience. Occasionally, this is because cast members can be rude or frustrating. Other times, it’s due to ride breakdowns. However, enough times, it’s because guests themselves behave badly at the parks.

Recently, some Disney World guests took to Reddit to share their top Disney pet peeves, noting common behaviors that far too many park-goers indulge in.

The OP wrote, “Mine is people who talk loud during the pre shows and during the ride. The first time I went on Haunted Mansion I couldn’t hear a word the narrator said and next to my doom buggy was a live streamer answering questions the entire time. The second time I rode it, it was almost empty and was an incredible experience.”

Another guest referenced “the Disney stop,” explaining, “People who stop in the middle of a walkway or right outside of a doorway.”

With respect to this particular pet peeve, guests jumped in to explain why the parks’ design made this behavior hard to avoid.

One wrote, “This is a huge pet peeve of mine but I’ve at least started to understand why it happens so much at Disney. I myself have stepped off to the side only to then step right in front of somebody and have to apologize. There’s so many lanes of traffic at Disney that stepping to the side usually means cutting somebody off.”

Another pet peeve that fans added was “People reciting any part of a rides pre-show for everyone to hear. Let people experience the stretching room for the first time themselves without having to listen to a group of strangers prove that they know the words.”

This was a particularly popular pet peeve with another guest adding these were “The absolute worst people.”

It’s important to remember that when you visit Disney World, it’s also essential to be considerate of other guests and their situations.
