Many Disney fans might not recognize the name Lily Aldridge, but you’ve probably seen the face of the woman who belongs to the name as she’s graced billboards, magazine ads, Sports Illustrated spreads, high-fashion runways, and TV commercials for 20 years!
Lily Aldridge is best known for her work as a Victoria’s Secret Angel, her marriage to Kings of Leon singer Caleb Followill, and her popular Youtube channel — however, the model and former Victoria’s Secret Angel is also a person who is well-known for her love of Disney, and she’s just created something new for Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando and the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts!
Lily Aldridge has created a unique product for Disney before, but her previous design was a little more family-friendly. Lily’s custom-designed rainbow Minnie Mouse ears (shown above) sold out quickly when the wearable accessories were released in a limited-edition Disney Parks Designer Collection back in 2020, and now the famously likable supermodel has teamed up with La Cava Del Tequila to curate a one-of-a-kind tequila margarita for EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts!
The new margarita will most likely include some of La Cava Del Tequila’s signature alcoholic ingredients, since it will be offered at La Cava Del Tequila in the Mexico Pavilion of EPCOT’s World Showcase, and it will be named “The Lily Margarita”.
As an influential supermodel with a significant following (over five million followers on Instagram alone), it’s safe to say that Lily Aldridge is a person who is comfortable with promoting products. Lily has promoted plenty of Disney products in the past and participated in plenty of collaborations in the fashion industry, and she’s also happy to share her enthusiasm for Disney musicals!
Lily is a frequent visitor of Disneyland Resort as well as Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, with each Disney property being her home away from home, and she has also just shared that she is (like many people) “in love with” the soundtrack of the new Walt Disney Animation Studios movie Encanto.
The creator of Lily Aldridge Parfums, patron of the charity No Kid Hungry, and mother of two will be participating in a live interview with La Cava Del Tequila tonight at 6:30 pm Eastern Standard Time on Instagram to unveil the beverage and the details regarding its flavoring, its ingredients, and Lily’s overall process with Disney in designing the new cocktail. Lily tagged the small-batch tequila brand Casa Dragones on Instagram, too, so that tequila is probably involved!
Lily promoted the upcoming interview and unveiling on Instagram, saying that she “can’t wait to chat tonight [about the] amazing cocktail” that’s being launched on January 14 with the opening of the EPCOT Festival. Since an interview on Instagram is inconvenient for anyone who doesn’t use social media or doesn’t have an Instagram account, we will be sure to reveal the contents of the interview after it airs!
