The 5 Things That You’ll Love About Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar at Disney Springs

With new experiences debuting at Disney Springs almost every day, it is hard to keep up with all of the changes. One of the new experiences to come to Disney Springs is Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar. This new bar is located in the Landing area of Disney Springs, right next to the Boathouse and down from Morimoto Asia. On our recent trip to Disney Springs, we stopped in to check it out and here is our list of the five things that you’ll love about it!

5 – Location, Location, Location – Jock Lindsey’s sits on the water in the Landing area of Disney Springs and feels like it is in the middle of it all. We sat outside and were able to see the people walking by, as well as look out over the water and enjoy views of Saratoga Springs and even see guests crashing into the water on the Amphicars from the Boathouse. There is a variety of seating available, but we enjoyed sitting outside and getting a nice breeze off of the water.

4 – Drinking Around the World…All From Your Seat – the menu for Jock Lindsey’s is broken up by region. It is actually a pilot’s log featuring food and drink from all of Jock’s travels. We were impressed by the ingenuity of the menu, but really enjoyed seeing it broken up that way. We were able to sample some drinks from around the world – which is a welcome respite to having to walk around all of World Showcase!

3 – Wonderful Bar Bites – Jock Lindsey’s is first and foremost a bar. There are A LOT of drink choices on the menu between cocktails, wine, and a variety of beers, but they do also serve a variety of bar bites. On our trip, we sampled the Air Pirate’s Pretzels served with a house-made mustard and a beer cheese fondue. The pretzels come served on a wire plane – it is pretty wild! We also had the Lao Che’s Revenge – they are deliciously sticky chicken wings served in a spicy Asian sauce. There is no easy way to enjoy these – just dig in and worry about the mess later! There were plenty of other options on the menu and all the choices pair well with the drinks available from the bar.

2 – Decorations – guests will definitely want to spend some time just looking around at all of the souvenirs that adorn the bar from all of Jock’s travels. They don’t appear out of place at all and will allow guests to be transported back to their favorite moments from the Indiana Jones movies!

1 – The Price is Right – on our trip, we both had drinks and split the two appetizers and the total bill (including tip) came to only $40! We thought it was a great midday break from walking around and was the right amount of food. We certainly are looking forward to visiting Jock’s again on our next trip!
