4. True Relaxation
You can be relaxing at your campsite, enjoying a casual stroll, or a leisurely bike ride around the resort, but regardless of what you choose to do, guests will enjoy and feel truly relaxed at Fort Wilderness. With the sounds of nature surrounding you, as well as woodland creatures walking through the resort, a stay at Fort Wilderness will not feel similar to a stay at any of the Disney resorts!
5. Space
While cabins and RV sites are close to one another, guests will enjoy the expanse of the resort that can be explored on bike, via golf cart, or many of the walking paths throughout the resort. Guests will especially enjoy visiting the resort during the holidays at guests staying their RVs take great pride in decorating their RV sites with ghosts, pumpkins, Christmas lights, or patriotic bunting depending on the holiday.
Our family has stayed at Fort Wilderness more than any other resort. We enjoy having our own personal space in our RV, but truly enjoy exploring the resort, visiting with nearby guests, and taking advantage of the large amount of amenities across the resort.
