Although not everyone thinks about eating healthy while on vacation at Disney parks, there are plenty of ways to make sure you can still have delicious foods that are healthy for you. Here are a few options at each of the parks. So enjoy!

Animal Kingdom

Harambe Fruit Market – Here you can find a wide variety of fresh fruits and veggies. You can also get fruit and cheese plates and even some fruit and nut trail mixes or yogurt and dried fruit.

Yak and Yeti – Almost everything on the menu here is healthy, or at least better for you than pizza and hot dogs. Enjoy a ginger chicken salad or veggie wrap. You can also eat teriyaki bowls or honey chicken.

Restaurantosaurus – In the mood for a veggie black bean burger or mixed salad? This is the place for you. They also serve a grilled chicken BLT. If you have a little one, try the turkey wrap on the kid’s meal menu.

Flame Tree Barbecue – If you love the flavors of barbecue, this is where you need to eat. Almost everything on the menu is grilled, like chicken, ribs and pulled pork. They also serve salads and fruit plates.

Hollywood Studios

ABC Commissary – The menu here has recently changed a little bit, but the most recent offerings are delicious and healthy. Have a Mediterranean Salad with chicken or salmon. For dinner, enjoy lemon pepper salmon or a chimichurri steak.

Anaheim Produce – If you love fresh produce, this is your place. They sell assorted whole fruits and fruit spears. They also have rice cakes, sweet potato chips and energy trail mixes.

Epcot

Electric Umbrella – Relax and enjoy a cool energy salad with roasted chicken or a vegetarian flatbread at this quick service restaurant in Epcot.

Sunshine Seasons – If you love a healthy stir-fry, then that is what you will find here. Not only can you enjoy shrimp or chicken stir-fry, but also a meatless version as well. There are grilled fish tacos and salmon to feed your seafood appetite too.

Tangierine Café – Head to Morocco for some healthy eats while in World Showcase. Try some Mediterranean wraps, chicken and lamb platters and veggie platters too. You can also try hummus, marinated olives or a lentil salad.

Magic Kingdom

Prince Eric’s Village Market – Stop by here for a snack pack of cherry tomatoes, hummus and chips or fruit slices. They also have whole fruits and veggie cups with dip. If you are looking for something cold, try frozen lemonade. They even have a low sugar option.

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café – In the mood for a little healthy south of the border meals? Try Pecos Bill’s. Here they serve a Southwest salad with chicken or spicy beef. You can also try the grilled fajita plate with all the fresh sides and for dessert they offer Greek yogurt.

Columbia Harbour House – Try the Anchors Aweigh sandwich made with white tuna or the Lighthouse sandwich made with hummus and veggies. They also have a broccoli peppercorn salad, baked chicken or fish and a grilled salmon plate. If you are looking for something warm, try the vegetarian chili.

Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café – On the menu here you will find a Falafel burger, Greek salad and a grilled chicken sandwich. They also have ½ rotisserie chicken and green beans for a side.

Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant – Want to dine healthy with a great view of the castle? They serve up a pulled pork sandwich served with veggies and apple slices or a grilled chicken Caesar salad.

Don’t forget that many of the quick service dining choices will also have an allergy friendly menu, so make sure to ask if you have food sensitive diet restrictions. There are also some great to-go snacks available at many of the stores in the parks that are yummy and healthy as well. I didn’t even touch on all the healthy food choices at Disney Springs. That will need to its own post with all the fabulous places that are opening there. But hopefully this will make food planning a little easier.
