The Force Awakens: 5 Star Wars Experiences You’ll Love

While the addition of Star Wars Land has been announced, it will still be a few years before we can actually explore the confines of the Star War universe. However, Disney has opened up many different experiences for guests to be able to get their Star Wars fix when visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Here are five that you’re definitely going to want to check out the next time you’re at the park!

5 – Star Wars Launch Bay – located in the old Magic of Disney Animation Building, Star Wars Launch Bay allows guests to see places and things shown in the movies. Guests can take a trip through a cantina and can also see props, including lightsabers of the Sith. On the way out of the building, guests can also purchase memorabilia from the films, as well as special souvenirs, including custom MagicBands and cell phone cases.

4 – Character Interactions – with the opening of Star Wars Launch Bay, guests can also visit with some of their favorite characters from the films. Currently, guests can choose between meeting Kylo Ren and Chewbacca at their designated locations in the Launch Bay. Having done both several times, this is one of the most fun character interactions that I’ve experienced. Guests can also encounter Stormtroopers in the Animation Courtyard as they approach the building.

3 – Star Tours – Force Awakens Scenes – coinciding with the release of the movie, Disney added a new scene to Star Tours that takes guests to Jakuu and features new characters from the film – Finn and BB-8. In addition to all of the old favorites, any trip aboard the Starspeeder will be a completely new voyage to save the rebel spy!

2 – Symphony of the Stars – guests no longer have to visit during Star Wars Weekends to be able to see fantastic Star Wars fireworks at the Studios. Between the enigmatic Star Wars score and Disney’s amazing skills with fireworks, this show is sure to impress and has already landed amongst the top tier of fireworks shows!
