Sorry to hear that. He was perfect for deadpan comedy. Pioneered it into modern screen in fact. Will never look at a Scotch Egg the same way ever again. Sad day. RIP Ewen.

The late actor played “Big Keith” in both seasons of The Office (2001 — 2003) and the two-part Christmas special. His character was best known for making awkward comments during already-awkward moments, often in the breakroom with Tim Canterbury (Martin Freeman) and Dawn Tinsley (Lucy Davis) while enjoying a Scotch egg. His character also inspired accountant Kevin Malone (Brian Baumgartner) in the popular US version of the show.
Following his role in The Office, MacIntosh appeared in several British sitcoms such as Miranda, Little Britain, and Afterlife and even starred in the West End show Geek! A New Musical. He also enjoyed a career in radio and film.
