The Top 7 Special Events at Disney World for Your Bucket List

7. One More Disney Day

This event is sporadic and is hard to pin down to a particular day.  Beginning in 2012, Walt Disney World invited guests to the Magic Kingdom to celebrate Leap Day when the park would be open for 24 continuous hours!  In subsequent years, Disney opted to add this event on the Friday preceding Memorial Day as the kickoff to summer.  We have attended the event in years past, but Disney opted not to hold the event in 2016, so it is unknown whether guests will have the chance to celebrate the beginning of summer again, but if it does come back, you’ll definitely want to add it to your “Must Do” list!

Special events are great ways to remember a Disney vacation, to learn something new, or to celebrate a holiday.  Some of these events do cost extra money, but having sampled all of these events, each and every one is worth the additional monetary cost!  What special event do you want to try?  What ones are on your “Must Do” list?
