This Classic Disney Ride is Making A Comeback THIS YEAR

Walt Disney World has been undergoing a significant transformation lately, and longtime fans are definitely feeling it. In just the past year, several classic attractions have either closed entirely or are preparing for significant changes.

Guests have already said goodbye to MuppetVision 3D. Tom Sawyer Island quietly disappeared from the My Disney Experience app without much of a sendoff. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is still running until the end of 2025. But it’s set to close for a major retheme that will change the ride entirely.

It’s been a tough year for nostalgic fans, especially those who grew up with these experiences. But not every update is a farewell.

The Return of a Holiday Favorite

Disney has confirmed that Jingle Cruise will return to Magic Kingdom for the 2025 holiday season. This seasonal overlay of Jungle Cruise brings a festive twist to the classic attraction. Expect presents piled in boats, decorated dock scenes, and new holiday-themed banter from your trusty skipper. All complete with jungle-style Christmas puns and “pun”-derful jokes that only Disney could pull off.

It’s all in good fun, and the overlay has become a fan-favorite tradition over the years, especially for those visiting in November and December. The ride path stays the same, but the experience is completely reimagined. The ride adds in holiday props, themed narration, and clever nods to the chaos of holiday travel.

More Holiday Offerings Across the Parks

The fun doesn’t stop in Adventureland. Frozen Holiday Surprise returns to Cinderella Castle, lighting up the night with Elsa, Anna, Olaf, and Kristoff in a magical display.

EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays begins November 28. It will feature global food booths, the moving Candlelight Processional, and festive overlays like Living with the Land: Glimmering Greenhouses.

Jollywood Nights returns for another round of after-hours fun at Hollywood Studios with themed entertainment, unique snacks, and hard-to-find character appearances.

Animal Kingdom joins the cheer with the Merry Menagerie’s winter animal puppets and seasonal Tree of Life projections, which bring a peaceful, snowy touch to the park’s nighttime ambiance.

More News Coming Very Soon

Although Disney has revealed a lot, the full schedule for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights hasn’t been released yet. Details on pricing, dates, and exclusive offerings should drop this week or next.

With Jingle Cruise leading the charge and more announcements just around the corner, the 2025 holiday season at Walt Disney World is shaping up to be full of surprises.
