Here’s a list of 10 of the most mind-blowing dining experiences at Walt Disney World.

10. Mingle With Mickey and Friends at Chef Mickey’s

Every guest should experience a character meal at least once! This particular character meal is perhaps the best for Disney first-timers. Chef Mickey’s restaurant located in the Contemporary Resort gives guests a chance to enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet while visiting with classic characters like Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Chip and Dale.

9. Enjoy a Tea Party at The Garden View Tea Room

Enjoy sampling a variety of teas while snacking on delicious sandwiches, pastries, and sweets. This is the perfect relaxing activity during a break from the parks, and kids are sure to feel special as they are given the royal treatment!

8. Catch Dinner and a Show at Teppan Edo

Are you looking for a fun and exciting dining experience at Epcot? If so, look no further than Teppan Edo in the Japan section of World Showcase! You can watch as a chef prepares a delicious meal for you right at your table. While similar to Teppanyaki dining experiences in the “real” world, Teppan Edo offers a signature Disney flair that consistently wows guests. Trust me, you are in for a fantastic show.

7. Sample Unique African–Style Cuisine at Boma

Boma is one of the best restaurants on Disney property for guests that want to try new foods on their vacation. Boma is an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort offering a variety of African-style dishes. While you cannot view the resort’s animals from the restaurant itself, there are observation areas just a short walk away, so if you arrive early for your reservation you can have a fun way to pass the time. You are sure to feel stuffed after a meal at Boma, so I recommend relaxing near the fire at the resort before turning in for the night.

6. Sing and Clap Along at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue

Located at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is a 2-hour long dinner and show experience that features comedy, singing, and dancing. The all-you-care-to-enjoy southern-style fare is delicious, and the show has been charming guests for a very long time. It is considered to be one of the longest continuous-running musicals in the history of American theater. You cannot go wrong with a visit on your next vacation!

5. Watch Fireworks from the Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party

Any seasoned Disney pro can tell you that it is oftentimes hard to find a great location to watch the Magic Kingdom’s nightly fireworks show, Wishes. Though Main Street U.S.A. offers a perfect view, the crowded nature of the location can sometimes be unpleasant for families with young children. The best solution is to view Wishes from the Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party. At the party, you can toast to the end of a fantastic day while enjoying a buffet of tasty desserts prepared by the fantastic pastry chefs at Disney. It is the perfect end to a magical day.

4. Party With Bad Guys at Club Villain

On select nights at Hollywood Studios you can dine on delicious New Orleans’ style cuisine before attending a dance party with all of your favorite villains. This event usually includes characters like Maleficent, the Queen of Hearts, Cruella De Vil, the Evil Queen, and Dr. Facilier. It’s a fun and delicious way to meet some of Disney’s more rare characters!

3. Catch a Bird’s Eye View of Disney from The California Grill

Located at the top of the Contemporary Resort, The California Grill is an upscale dining experience that offers some of the most famous dishes on Disney property. Enjoy dishes like Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli and Pork Tenderloin with Polenta while looking out over the parks. Guests who dine at the California Grill are offered the opportunity go out on the restaurant’s observation deck. No matter what time you dine, you are also able to come back to see Wishes, the fireworks display, from the observation deck. Just remember to keep your receipt to show the hostess.
