Top 10 Snacks We Simply Must Have On Every Trip To Walt Disney World!

Popcorn

It’s a Disney Fanatic fact; Walt Disney World has the best food of any place…. Ever. Sometimes, we don’t have the time to stop and eat as we run around the parks experiencing all the magic though. So we’re here to give you our favorite snacks of Walt Disney World that you can enjoy time and time again, and you don’t have to stop the fun either!

1. Pot Roast Mac and Cheese- Friar Nook’s

It’s a thick, rich snack, but it’s a must-have of any Disney trip. The Pot Roast Mac and Cheese found at Friar Nook’s in Magic Kingdom is so different and delightful. The portion is big enough to be considered a meal, but we love how compact it is that we can sit and watch a parade while we munch on that little taste of heaven.

2. Ice Cream Sandwich- Plaza Ice Cream Parlor

With a cookie as big as your face and your choice of ice cream, you can’t go wrong with this pick from Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. A lot people rave about the combination of Mint Chocolate Chip and those delicious cookies, but we know any flavor would taste perfect.

3. Dole Whip

It’s a classic, and you can’t go to Disney World without getting at least… three! But seriously, we applaud those who are able to go on a Disney World trip and not get this pineapple ice cream delight multiple times. It’s just too good!

4. Popcorn

This is another one we can’t help but love. It’s simple, but you can’t deny it when it calls your name from across the street as its scent wafts through the air. To make a little more magic, go ahead and spring for one of those themed souvenir buckets. Depending on the time of the year, there’s always a new and special way to enjoy this Disney World snack.

5. Churros

Mmmm what a sweet way to be reminded you’re at Disney World. If you’re needing a good sugar boost to get you through your 9 am-11 pm Magic Kingdom day, we suggest one of these bad boys. Churro stations are everywhere, but we prefer the station right outside of Storybook Circus because the line isn’t usually too long, and we love the theme of this area as well.

6. Margarita- Mexico pavilion

A good drink as a snack? Absolutely. We don’t have a flavor to recommend, we’re just not sure how anyone can visit Epcot without getting one of these delicious adult treats. It’s the perfect combination of salty and sweet and we can’t wait to get one every time we go. The frozen ones are a perfect summer snack too!

7. Gelato

Another cold snack to combat those sticky Florida days, gelato has quickly made its way into our Disney loving hearts. We’re not sure how or why, but Gelato is just a little more special than ice cream, and that’s why it’s perfect for your Disney trip. Whether you grab a cup at the Italy pavilion or you’re spending a day at Art of Animation resort, grab this cub of happy and enjoy yourself! And make sure you grab an exotic flavor too.

8. Mickey-Shaped…. Anything!

What would a Disney trip be without something Mickey shaped, I mean seriously. Whether it’s a pretzel, an ice cream bar, or even a Carmel apple with some Mickey ears on it, nothing says, “You’re in Walt Disney World” like walking around with your favorite Mickey shaped treat in your hand.

9. Carrot Cake Cookie- Writer’s Stop

It’s Carrot Cake and it’s a cookie, need we say more?? Okay, we’ll say a little more. The Carrot Cake cookie is a massive cookie with our favorite cream smashed in the middle. Excuse us while we wipe the drool off our face.

10. Themed Cupcakes

Whether it’s an Olaf cupcake, a Christmas cupcake, or a dark chocolate Darth Vader cupcake, whatever time of year it is, Disney World is bound to offer an amazing themed cupcake to help you celebrate it. Our personal favorite is the Darth Vader cupcake, and we’re sure there will be lots of Star Wars themed treats in the future as well.

About Madison

My name is Madison, I'm 21 years old and currently live in Kentucky. Disney is my passion, research is my hobby, and writing is my "made for this". I have been a big Disney fan ever since I can remember, I loved all the Disney princesses, and I will never forget my first trip to Disney World when I was seven years old. It wasn't until my husband and I took our "Disney Honeymoon" that I was REALLY hooked. In June we will have taken our third trip to Disney in less than a year and have many more planned in the future! I am a big pin trader, my favorite princess is Sleeping Beauty, and the Wishes Fireworks Show brings me to tears every time.
