Top 3 Cost-Saving Tips for Disney Pin Trading

1. Multi-Pin Packs/Mystery Packs

At most gift shops, guests can purchase individual pins, but they can also purchase multi-pin packs.  These packs are usually centered around a theme (I worked for the better part of the year to find all of the Disney characters at classic Disney attractions).  Guests can purchase on of these boxes that contain two pins for around the price of a mid-priced pin (around $10 or $11).  Guests can also find mystery packs that contain mystery pins.  Guests can “save” money in this instance by being able to get two pins for the price of one.  Guests can use these pins to then trade with Cast Members or other guests.  When I was trying to complete my collection, I was able to trade the duplicates away to Cast Members in an attempt to start and complete another collection of pins.  Photo credit Disney
