2. Disney's Pop Century Resort
Pop Century can be seen as a sort of sibling to Art of Animation. It was actually originally going to be an extension of AoA, and while that plan was eventually abandoned, the two resorts still reside right next door to one another and each is accessible from the other via a bridge.
In any case, Pop Century is all about the pop culture, technologies, and iconic imagery that took the world by storm between the 1950s and the 1990s. Here you'll find three themed pools based on certain decades: the Hippy Dippy Pool (1960s), the Bowling Pool (1950s), and the Computer Pool (1990s). As you walk around Pop Century and take in all the decor and imagery, you'll likely find yourself saying, “Oh yeah, I remember that!” a lot.
