This situation raised questions regarding the fairness of ABC’s broadcasting decisions.

Viewers called for accountability, demanding more balanced coverage of prominent figures attending major events, such as college football games. The presidential debate moderated by ABC, where Trump faced off against Vice President Kamala Harris, also attracted backlash for what Trump claimed was unfair treatment.
This atmosphere of animosity has been exacerbated by legal disputes involving Trump and Good Morning America anchor, George Stephanopoulos. Trump is currently pursuing a defamation lawsuit against ABC and Stephanopoulos. This legal action stems from comments made during a prior interview where Stephanopoulos said Trump had been “found liable for rape”.
