Flora Taverna and Bar Helios, both located within the sleek and modern Helios Grand Hotel, are now accepting dining reservations ahead of the hotel’s early preview period in April 2025.
These restaurants had previously opened up a limited number of reservations for early preview guests, but the demand was so high that they filled almost instantly. Now, with Epic Universe preview season fast approaching, Universal Orlando is giving guests another chance to secure a table.
Flora Taverna, the hotel’s signature restaurant, offers a refined yet approachable Mediterranean dining experience. Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner service with menus that include a full breakfast buffet, wood-fired pizzas, open grills, and made-to-order gyros. The restaurant is located near the hotel lobby and features an open kitchen concept, allowing guests to see their meals come to life.
More than just its cuisine, Flora Taverna is designed to deliver ambiance. Diners will be treated to panoramic views of Epic Universe while they eat, making it a truly immersive part of the resort experience. The first available reservations at Flora Taverna begin on April 17, 2025.
Bar Helios, on the other hand, offers a more upscale rooftop lounge atmosphere. Designed with multiple spaces—including an al fresco patio, elegant dining areas, and a central circle bar with 360-degree views—Bar Helios is shaping up to be one of the most stylish spots to unwind within Universal Orlando Resort.
The menu at Bar Helios is curated around small plates and craft cocktails. Standout dishes include scallop crudo, charred octopus, lamb sliders, and seasonal tapas that pair well with their inventive drink selection. This restaurant opens for reservations one day earlier, on April 16, 2025.
Both venues are expected to be in high demand due to their connection to Epic Universe and the limited availability during the preview period. Guests staying at the Helios Grand Hotel will benefit from exclusive amenities such as private park entrance, early access to Epic Universe, and in-room merchandise delivery.
