Grab the tissues! A magical moment recently took place at the Magic Kingdom where six-year-old princess and cancer survivor Aubrey English got to have a special interaction with Princess Tiana. Good Morning America shared a video of this most special Princess and the Frog (2009) meet and greet experience. Watch English meet Princess Tiana and learn more about her experience at Walt Disney World and how she was able to stay positive and inspire others during some truly difficult times in the video below:
English, the smaller princess seen with Princess Tiana above was diagnosed with cancer at a young age, though her spirit remained positive while going through something more difficult than many of us will ever experience ourselves. Throughout her cancer treatment, English became known for her positive attitude through even the most difficult times, and her outlook proved inspirational for other young patients going through similar situations.

During her meet and greet in the Magic Kingdom, English’s favorite Disney Princess Tiana shared the same positive mentality with this younger, inspirational princess saying, “Every princess is kind, and hard-working, and believes in herself, and you’re all of those things, aren’t you Aubrey? Well, Princess Aubrey, I think you are a princess all on your own.”

English’s cancer diagnosis came right before her third birthday, and we are happy to share that she has now been in remission for about three years. During her treatments, her fun dance moves kept her and other children going through similar treatments in good spirits. Art her meet and greet in the Magic Kingdom, Princess Tiana even reminded her to keep practicing her famous dance moves!
And what better way to celebrate three years of remission and inspiration given to help others than with a trip to Walt Disney World, especially during “The World’s Most Magical Celebration”?
