5. Pool Time
Enjoying the pools at moderate resorts were always a big part of my Disney vacations as a kid. It’s hard to beat the waterslides, kiddy pool and splash pads that are available to cool off in at moderate resorts. Playing on the sea serpent slide at Port Orleans French Quarter will forever be one of my favorite Walt Disney World Disney memories. Laying poolside with a frozen drink from one of the nearby resort eateries is a great way to relax during time outside the park.
