Come and get it! The most popular and sought-after Walt Disney World Resort promotion is now available for booking- Free Dining! These two simple words can send any Disney-goer into a frenzy.
Disney World has announced the FREE Dining promotion is coming back for 2018. You pay for your room and Disney World will pick up the tab for your food. How awesome is that? Be aware that the number of rooms available for this promotion are always very limited and since this is Disney’s most popular sale those spots fill up fast!
Complete details on the Free Disney Dining offer and two other offers just released are below.

Free Dining is exactly what it sounds like. It is Disney’s promotion which allows guests to include a dining plan with their resort reservation absolutely FREE. Do you know what that means? Free Dole Whips for snacks. Free character dining like the new Storybook Dining with Snow White. And if you decide to combine credits, free steak at the Yachtsman!
Of course, there are requirements in order to obtain such a delicious offer. So feast your eyes and then contact us so we can help you get your free dining plan!
1. Travel Dates
The best way to obtain Free Dining is to be flexible on your travel dates. For 2019 Free Dining, you must check-in on a day that falls between July 5th and September 30th, 2019 (most nights apply).
2. Minimum Stay
The Free Dining promotion requires a minimum 5-night stay at a Walt Disney World Resort. Keep in mind, not all promotions have a requirement like this so it is important to weigh all your options carefully. This is why we recommend using MickeyTravels since their agents can handle all the number crunching for you.
3. Resort Specifications
Do not assume that because your trip falls within the specified travel dates that you will receive a free dining plan. Only certain resorts and room types are included in the Free Dining promotion. For the 2019 Free Dining Promotion guests must be staying at one of the following:
- Disney’s All Star Music Resort
- Disney’s All Star Sports Resort
- Disney’s Art of Animation Resort – Family Suites Only
- Disney’s Pop Century Resort
- Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
- Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
- Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
- Disney’s Beach Club Resort
- Disney’s Boardwalk Inn
- Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
- Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
- Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
- Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House and Kidani Village
- Disney’s Beach Club Villas
- Disney’s Boardwalk Inn Villas
- Disney’s Old Key West Resort
- Disney’s Polynesian Villa & Bungalows
- Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
3. Ticket Requirements
Another contingency of the Free Dining promotion is that you must have at least Park Hopper or Park Hopper Plus tickets added onto your package. To “Park Hop” or “not” is a debate for another article, but with the dining plan, it’s nice to know your restaurant selection is nearly limitless!
4. Not All Dining Plans Are Equal
Over the years, the Free Dining offer has evolved. Dining plans are broken into three categories: Quick Service, Disney Dining and Deluxe Dining. This promotion only includes the Quick Service and Disney Dining Plans and each resort category offers a specific plan:
- Value Resort – Quick Service Dining Plan
- Moderate Resort – Quick Service Dining Plan
- Deluxe Resort – Disney Dining Plan
Note: Guests of any resort can upgrade their dining plans to either the Disney Dining or Deluxe Plan by simply paying the difference in cost. We highly recommend upgrading to at least the Disney Dining Plan, but here are some reasons why we love the Deluxe Dining Plan.
5. Keep Calm and Dine On…
Finally, if the 2019 Free Dining promotion doesn’t work out for you, don’t despair! Sometimes you’ll find that you can add a dining plan and save even more money with a different promotion. In addition, sometimes the rooms with the promotions are booked up quickly. Sometimes Disney will release more rooms with the Free Dining offer at a later time. Again, this is another reason we recommend using our preferred MickeyTravels agents who will watch this for you.

11 Things Disney Pros Do At Walt Disney World Parks
As the song says in Oliver & Company, “street savoire faire” can often be all that you need for success; when you leave the real world behind and enter Walt Disney World, this rule is still true. A Disney Pro knows their way around the parks, knows the best ways to prepare for a Disney day, and, most importantly, knows how to balance a scheduled vacation with impromptu Disney magic. These eleven tips will help you vacation just like the Disney Pros!
10) Be open to socialization. Disney magic can often be found in the people around you, and not necessarily those that you are vacationing with (although you should always travel with people whose company you’ll actually enjoy). Bonding with a stranger on a roller coaster might seem like a small, pleasant interaction, but it really is part of the Disney magic.
9) Get a dining plan.Dining plans really can help you save a lot of money on a Disney vacation (after all, those Mickey Mouse ice cream bars add up!).
8) Don’t let the weather get you down. A rainy day is absolutely no reason to give up on your Disney day. Have you ever ridden Splash Mountain in the rain? You should—and you’ll be getting wet anyway, so why not?
7) Bring sunblock. Sunburns (especially on crucial areas, like your feet or the back of your knees) are a very real threat in Florida, even on cloudy days, and they can really dampen some of your Disney enthusiasm. So slather on some SPF every time you take a break, wear hats, and learn to appreciate the value of shade.
6) Don’t neglect resorts—including your own. Eating meals at other resorts is a lovely way to see some different places and experiment with Disney atmospheres, and remember to spend some sunbathing time at your own resort, as well! Like the Disney parks, each resort is filled with friendly people, beautiful decor, and a fully realized theme. Give them some extra attention!
5) Cover valuables for wet rides. Rides like the Kali River Rapids offer containers within the ride to store valuables, but it’s always a good idea to be proactive with some plastic bags or small towels. On a hot day, you might dry off quickly, but your phone might not recover so admirably.
4) Use Fastpasses for any high-priority rides or attractions. Disney Pros know what it is that they really, really want to do at Walt Disney World, and a Fastpass is the ideal way to go about it. Just pick your top choices, grab some Fastpasses for each one, and while the rest of the day away with spontaneous food and fun!

2) Strategize. You don’t need to plan your snacks obsessively or create a vacation that is mapped out like a spreadsheet—just plan a little. For example, use indoor rides to your advantage, both to get some shade and to refresh yourself for the rest of the day! Breaks can also be taken in unexpectedly beautiful rest spots, like unnoticed gazebos, and street shows help keep the fun going even when you’re off your feet. If you want a vacation that is both relaxing AND productive, some strategic multitasking is the way to go!
1) Embrace Disney’s surprises. A seasoned Disney-goer does not pack his or her schedule so tightly that there is no room for spontaneity. Snacks, impromptu character interactions, and street shows are all apt to show up on every Disney vacation—and you won’t want to miss them! The unexpected Disney magic is often the best.
There is a difference between stressful planning and comfortable planning for your Disney days, and Disney Pros craft magical and memorable experiences by preparing for both the expected and the unexpected! Feel free to vacation your way—whatever that way might be—but keep in mind that, whether it’s a wonderful pool night at your resort or the opportunity to ride on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad four times in a row, a Disney vacation really is all about the surprises.<.p>
