What’s Going on at Stella Nova? Universal Hotel Already Damaged

Universal Orlando’s newest addition to its hotel lineup, the Stella Nova Resort, has officially welcomed its first guests—but not without a small twist. A playful tweet from theme park enthusiast Ethan Hershaft revealed that the hotel’s rotating front door is temporarily out of service. Visitors are being guided through a side entrance, complete with a humorous sign that reads, “Houston, we have a problem.” It’s a lighthearted start for what’s set to be one of Universal’s most exciting resorts yet.

Stella Nova is more than just a new place to stay; it’s a key part of Universal’s expansion as they gear up for the grand opening of Epic Universe on May 22, 2025. The resort is conveniently located right next to the new theme park, giving guests easy access via a walking path or complimentary shuttle service. With Epic Universe expected to draw record-breaking crowds, Stella Nova is poised to become a go-to destination for visitors looking to stay close to the action.

The hotel’s design blends modern luxury with comfort, offering spacious rooms and top-notch amenities that cater to both families and solo travelers. Universal Orlando has been expanding its hotel offerings to meet the growing demand, and Stella Nova fits perfectly into this evolving landscape. Early guests have praised the hotel’s sleek aesthetics, attentive staff, and unbeatable proximity to the new park.

While the spinning door situation has added a bit of unexpected humor to the resort’s debut, it’s clear that the overall guest experience remains the top priority. The resort’s convenient location, combined with its stylish design and exceptional service, makes it a standout addition to Universal Orlando’s lineup.
