In between riding our favorite attractions and figuring out where to grab dinner, it can be easy to overlook a very special part of a Walt Disney World visit. Waiting in line and being able to interact with your favorite Disney characters can create a special memento to remember your trip for years to come. While there are numerous characters that you can meet between the theme parks, restaurants, and resorts, the two most popular (and easy to find) are Mickey and Minnie! Here is where to find them around Disney World!
Adventurer’s Outpost (Animal Kingdom)
Located on Discovery Island in the center of the park, Adventurer’s Outpost features both Mickey and Minnie and they are decked out in their exploration gear when interacting with guests. This location usually has line a line of between twenty and forty minutes, but guests can get a FastPass+ reservation to skip the line entirely!
Garden Grill (Epcot)
At this restaurant in the Land Pavilion, guests will only get to meet Mickey (along with Pluto and Chip ‘n Dale). In addition to a great meal, guests dining here will also get a 360 degree view as the restaurant rotates around during the meal.
Town Square Theatre (Magic Kingdom)
Mickey is decked out in his magician’s costume when greeting guests at the Town Square Theatre. This location is just inside the gates of the Magic Kingdom. This is one of the most popular locations to meet Mickey at, so guests may want to use a FastPass+ selection if this is high on your list. PhotoPass photographers staff this location so you can get a great picture with your family to remember your visit.
Chef Mickey’s (Contemporary Resort)

in addition to these locations throughout the parks and resorts, guests can also find Mickey and Minnie interacting with guests during special events at the parks for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, as well as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
