Where to Find Mickey and Minnie at Disney World

In between riding our favorite attractions and figuring out where to grab dinner, it can be easy to overlook a very special part of a Walt Disney World visit.  Waiting in line and being able to interact with your favorite Disney characters can create a special memento to remember your trip for years to come.  While there are numerous characters that you can meet between the theme parks, restaurants, and resorts, the two most popular (and easy to find) are Mickey and Minnie!  Here is where to find them around Disney World!

Adventurer’s Outpost (Animal Kingdom)

Located on Discovery Island in the center of the park, Adventurer’s Outpost features both Mickey and Minnie and they are decked out in their exploration gear when interacting with guests.  This location usually has line a line of between twenty and forty minutes, but guests can get a FastPass+ reservation to skip the line entirely!

Garden Grill (Epcot)

At this restaurant in the Land Pavilion, guests will only get to meet Mickey (along with Pluto and Chip ‘n Dale).  To match up with the theme of the restaurant, as well as the pavilion, Mickey is dressed up like a farmer with a plaid shirt and overalls on.  In addition to a great meal, guests dining here will also get a 360 degree view as the restaurant rotates around during the meal.

Town Square Theatre (Magic Kingdom)

Mickey is decked out in his magician’s costume when greeting guests at the Town Square Theatre.  This location is just inside the gates of the Magic Kingdom.  This is one of the most popular locations to meet Mickey at, so guests may want to use a FastPass+ selection if this is high on your list.  PhotoPass photographers staff this location so you can get a great picture with your family to remember your visit.

Chef Mickey’s (Contemporary Resort)

This popular restaurant serves guests breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a buffet-style setting.  The views the meal offers is great — you’ll see Monorails flying in and out of the interior of the Contemporary throughout their meal.  During the meal, guests will also be able to meet Mickey and Minnie, as well as Goofy, Donald, and Pluto!

Festival of Fantasy Parade (Magic Kingdom)

While guests won’t be able to meet with them, guests can find both Mickey and Minnie sharing a float in the daily parade at the Magic Kingdom — guests will love finding a spot on Main Street for this parade and waving to their two favorite characters while the cruise by!

Tusker House (Animal Kingdom)

Located in the Africa section of Animal Kingdom, Tusker House invites guests for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  Each meal offers guests all-they-care-to-enjoy food featuring traditional favorites, as well as exotic dishes.  During the course of their meal, guests will be visited by Mickey, as well as, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy as they take a break from their expeditions!

Epcot Character Spot (Epcot)

Another location where guests can skip the line with a FastPass+ selection.  At Epcot Character Spot, Mickey and Minnie greet guests in their traditional outfits as guests move from one location to another — Goofy also meets with guests at this location!

Red Carpet Dreams (Hollywood Studios)

Mickey and Minnie don their red carpet finest for guests visiting them at this location.  They do not greet guests together — guests will meet with one and then move to a separate room to greet the other.  Minnie is elegant in a fancy dress, while Mickey usually is appearing in his Sorcerer’s outfit when posing for photos.  

Ohana (Polynesian Village Resort)

During breakfast, Mickey will visit the tables while guests enjoy a platter of Mickey waffles, eggs, bacon, and sausage, as well as some delicious POG juice!  In addition to Mickey, guests will have the ability to meet Pluto, Lilo, and Stitch!

Pete’s Silly Sideshow (Magic Kingdom)

Nestled in the back of the Storybook Circus area of Fantasyland, Pete’s Silly Sideshow invites guests to interact with Minnie, as well as Daisy, Goofy, and Donald.  If you choose to grab a photo with Minnie, you’ll be able to also get your photo with Daisy afterwards!

Topolino’s Terrace Restaurant (Riviera Resort)

One of the newest restaurants on property invites guests to meet their favorite characters during a special character breakfast — in addition to Mickey and Minnie, guests will find Donald and Daisy greeting guests as well!

Honorable Mentions

in addition to these locations throughout the parks and resorts, guests can also find Mickey and Minnie interacting with guests during special events at the parks for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, as well as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.  They also greet runners during the various runDisney events held throughout the year.
