10 BEST Restaurants for Seafood Lovers at Walt Disney World

Between the Disney World Parks and Resorts, you’ll find some of the highest-rated seafood restaurants around. Award-winning culinary chefs have become masters at preparing fresh, from-the-sea ingredients for your tasting pleasure. It takes no effort to become lost in the flavor sensations abounding in the gorgeously plated seafood dishes found inside these restaurants, and the impression they leave you with is long-lasting indeed. Next time you find yourself on Disney property and have a hankering for some under-the-sea goodness, head over to one of our 10 BEST restaurants for seafood lovers at Walt Disney World.

10. Coral Reef Restaurant

Located inside Future World at Epcot, this restaurant focuses primarily on seafood as patrons get to dine inside a room lined with massive windows looking into the giant, indoor Living Seas aquarium. With this kind of gorgeous scenery and the ever-changing view of the sea-life (and an occasional diver or two) you are certain to partake in a memorable lunch or dinner. Some of their mouth-watering menu items include Creamy Lobster Soup, Charbroiled Octopus, Seared Rainbow Trout and Sriracha Shrimp.

9. Cape May Café

Who doesn’t love an all-you-can-eat buffet from time to time? With the chefs dishing out some seriously delectable and endless seafood offerings it is all the more reason to head on over to The Beach Club Resort’s Cape May Café. Here you’ll find a ton of seafood options ranging from seafood chowder to steamed clams and mussels to shrimp and salmon. Eat until your hearts content and fill your belly with the best of the sea’s pickins’.

8. Captain’s Grille

I have a love/hate relationship with crab cakes. I don’t know how so many places can prepare this dish so many different ways, but sometimes I am served a plate of crab cakes that look and taste about as appetizing as mushy cat food. Likewise, I have a love/hate relationship with Captain’s Grille located inside The Yacht Club Resort. I’ve had over-the-top wonderful experiences here as well one “can-you-send-over-the-manager” horrible experience here. That being said, I’m so very glad I gave this restaurant another chance after the terrible service we received on one visit because if I hadn’t, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to eat the BEST tasting crab cakes in the world. Seriously, I’m not kidding. The. BEST. Plump, juicy and fresh pieces of crab meat are delicately balanced with the light crunch of their Old Bay Chips finished with Stone-ground Mustard Cream and Lemon Emulsion. I do realize that the menu at Captain’s Grille contains other aquatic favorites like seared scallops and snow crab legs, but if you enjoy fresh and succulent seafood then do yourself a favor and order the crab cakes for your meal. Trust me on this, these are by far the best crab cakes on Disney property…and probably the best crab cakes you’ll ever eat.

7. The Garden Grove, Friday & Saturday Night Seafood Buffet

Located at the Walt Disney World Swan Resort, The Garden Grove provides delightful dining atmosphere reminiscent to the tranquil gardens of Central Park, boasting a 25-foot oak tree at its center which is charmingly adorned with twinkling lights and paper lanterns. On Friday and Saturday nights only, there is a special seafood buffet featuring dishes like Stuffed Maine Lobster, Seafood Paella and Mussels Fra Diablo. The reviews of this dining experience are always wonderful, and with those quirky Disney characters stopping by the tables to interact with the patrons, what’s not to love?

6. Rose and Crown Pub and Dining Room

This highly popular dining spot located inside Epcot’s United Kingdom Pavilion is well-known for their beer-battered fish and chips. Their quick-service counter is always packed with a line of people eager for their fried-fish and French fry fix. You can also order this meal inside their dining room for dinner, as well as the delicious Pan-Roasted Scottish Salmon. Seafood lovers will undoubtedly enjoy their experience here!

5. Kona Café and Kona Island

The second floor of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has some seriously great eats. Here, you’ll find the famous all-you-can-eat buffet at ‘Ohanas, as well as the Kona Café and its quick service bar top, Kona Island. The Kona Café boasts some lovely seafood dishes like fish tacos and surf and turf burgers with fried shrimp for lunch, and Asian-influenced dishes like the Togarashi Spiced Ahi Tuna, Sesame Seared Sea Scallops and Sustainable Fish for dinner. There is also an amazing array of fresh sushi available for appetizers here as well as at their Kona Island bar top. Made-to-order sushi and sashimi stuffed with fresh sea ingredients like shrimp, scallops, eel, tuna, and salmon are certain to impress sushi and seafood lovers alike!

4. Victoria and Albert’s

If you’re willing to go high-end, there is nothing quite like the taste experience you’ll receive at Victoria and Albert’s, located inside the elegant Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Arguably the best restaurant on Disney property, there is a strong focus on seafood here as the chefs apply innovative techniques in preparation and plating using top-notch, uber-fresh ingredients. The menu is often changing, but you can be certain to find wild-caught fish, Maine scallops, Alaskan King Salmon, and even caviar on their exemplary list of exquisite cuisine. Expect to pay over $100 per person here, but you will never have a food experience like the one you’ll find during your 2 ½ hour, 6-course meal at Victoria and Albert’s.

3. Narcoossee’s

You don’t have to be a seafood lover to dine here as the menu at Grand Floridian’s Narcoossee’s contains almost as many meat dishes as seafood dishes. This signature dining restaurant has some truly spectacular plates and the chefs here have mastered seafood, bringing out deep, complex flavors that you won’t find many other places. Crowd pleasers include menu items like their Crispy Whole Yellowtail Snapper, Columbia River Wild King Salmon, Key West Shrimp and Fettucine, and their Two-Pound Steamed Maine Lobster. The presentations are beautiful, the atmosphere dark and inviting (and romantic), and the food superb! Make no mistake, this restaurant has what it takes where seafood is concerned! And please…PLEASE…do yourself a major act of kindness and order the Almond-Crusted Cheesecake for dessert. I know it has nothing to do with seafood, but this dessert is legendary!

2. Fulton’s Crab House

The setting alone makes this must-see restaurant located in the heart of Downtown Disney a unique dining experience. With just one look at the larger-than-life riverboat restaurant, lovers of seafood will be enticed indoors with the seafaring feel this place exudes. Available to dine during lunch or dinner, the choices are vast and varied where seafood is concerned, favorites including Alaskan King Crab Legs, Shrimp and Grits, Florida Grouper and Lobster Ravioli. I’ve not had a Fulton’s Crab House experience I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed.
