10. Enjoy Burgers and Taco Salad At Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Café.

Huge taco salads as well as burgers and fries are never in short supply at this restaurant. The heavily staffed restaurant means that even enormous guest crowds can be fed quickly at Pecos Bill’s Inn. Orders come with minimal toppings allowing guests to customize their order from the huge condiment bar in the restaurant. Building big meals is easy at this walk up restaurant.

9. Lunch On Tortuga Tavern Barbecue Sandwiches.

Tortuga Tavern tends only to be open during more high traffic park times. This reason alone is enough to enough to motivate me to drop in for a barbeque sandwich. Roasted corn and vegetable salad as well as barbecued pork and brisket are Tortuga Tavern specialties. The restaurant is in the perfect location to serve guests a speedy meal before they hop over to Jungle Cruise or Pirates of the Caribbean to make a fast pass time.

8. A Juicy Frontierland Turkey Leg Is The Perfect On The Go Lunch.

Turkey legs as delicious as those at Walt Disney World are difficult to find on menus in the outside world. This hearty snack is large enough to enjoy as a meal and can be quickly purchased from a cart in frontier land. Magic Kingdom turkey legs make it easy to enjoy lunch without slowing down the park day.

7. Get Your Waffle Fix At Sleepy Hollow Counter Service Restaurant.

Sleepy Hollow counter service restaurant is a Magic Kingdom eatery that is sometimes forgotten. Some guests walk right past the restaurant without knowing about the sweet and savory waffle dishes being served. This waffle stand sells sweet waffles topped with fruit, Nutella and cinnamon. These treats come at a great price and are large enough for sharing.

6. Enjoy A Healthy and Hearty Meal at Liberty Square Market.

Liberty Square Market takes a fresh spin on theme park food and serves guests overlooking the Rivers of America. Fresh fruit and vegetables, baked potatoes and hot dogs are available for guests to enjoy as they take a break from the midday heat under the shade of umbrellas at the tables surrounding the restaurant.

5. Grab A Walk Up Meal at The Lunching Pad.

The Lunching Pad is a centrally located restaurant in Tomorrowland that serves specialty hot dogs and sides. A Reuben dog, taco dog and philly cheese steak dogs are all on the menu at the Lunching Pad alongside frozen drinks, pretzels and chips. The Lunching Pad specializes in classic theme park food with a twist, served fresh and fast for guests to enjoy on the go.

4. Enjoy Unique Park Food at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant.

Down the street from the Lunching Pad guests will find a more unique short order dining option at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant. This outdoor dining area is heavily shaded and overlooks Cinderella Castle so guests can enjoy a gorgeous view and refreshing breeze off the water as they dine. Alongside classics like burgers, hot dogs and chicken sandwiches guests can enjoy fresh salads, lobster rolls and crispy homemade potato chips.

3. Make Ice Cream A Meal At Storybook Treats.

A Walt Disney World vacation means that you are allowed to make a meal out of any treat that suits you. Delicious sundaes and ice cream cones at Storybook Treats is the perfect place to grab a “meal” on the go for your vacation. Ice cream will help you beat the midday Orlando heat!

2. Enjoy the View of Main Street U.S.A at Casey’s Corner.

The fresh and delicious hot dogs at Casey’s Corner on Main Street are difficult to pass up as the smell of hot dogs and fries waft onto the street in front of the Castle. Thin and crispy shoe string french fries are my favorite item on the menu at Casey’s Corner. This restaurant receives heavy guest traffic but is also heavily staffed making it a quick and easy dining option for guests on the go. A stocked condiment bar is available for guests to pile their hot dogs and fries with as many additional toppings as they want.

1. Dine Outdoors On Macaroni and Cheese At Friar’s Nook in Fantasyland.

Friar’s Nook is an often overlooked eatery in the Magic Kingdom that guests tend to bustle right past in Fantasyland. Rich macaroni and cheese cups covered in crispy bread crumbs are my favorite meal at Friar’s Nook. Jazz up your mac & cheese with an order of pot roast mac & cheese or barbeque chicken mac & cheese. This snack has all the hearty goodness of a sit down meal in an easy to transport bowl.
