1. It Was Nearly an Abby Normal Attraction

According to Imagineer C. McNair Wilson, Michael Eisner initially collaborated with Mel Brooks on the potential attraction which was to be called “Castle Young Frankenstein” after the 1974 Brooks film Young Frankenstein film.  It later became “Mel Brooks’ Hollywood Horror Hotel” before Eisner and Brooks parted ways and the idea was scrapped.
