2. Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser – Coming 2021!
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is set to break new ground when it lands next year near Disney’s Hollywood Studios (not actual ground when it lands, of course). This 2-night experience will immerse you deeper into the Star Wars universe than any movie, show, comic book or attraction has ever done so far. But where does one even begin to explain what adventures await aboard the Halcyon?
For starters, you can expect to spend the night aboard a Starcruiser where you can marvel at views of the beloved faraway galaxy. You’ll also explore the ship and meet members of the crew, learn to wield a lightsaber and enjoy some drinks at the Silver C Lounge. In the meantime, let Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge satisfy your inner-Jedi. And then next year, the circle will be complete.
1. Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway – Coming March 4 2020!
Disney World is the closest you’ve ever gotten to stepping inside the whimsical, whacky and zany animated world of Mickey and Minnie, right? Wrong! On March 4 your dreams really will come true, as Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will whisk you into the couple’s home world aboard a twisting train. And there’s even a familiar face in Goofy too! The attraction will be the first “2 ½-D” experience the resort has ever seen. In other words, don’t get too comfy in your theater seats, as you’ll literally be entering the world of cartoons. The train could go anywhere, but one thing’s for sure – it will be arriving at a platform known as Disney’s Hollywood Studios in just a couple of weeks. You can even check the countdown on the official website!
Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebrations is sure to put the likes of the Naboo Coronation – golly, even the galaxy-wide, post-Empire-collapse celebrations – to shame. But don’t forget to keep your eyes open for more new additions to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, like the hugely anticipated Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.
