One year into his role as CEO of the Walt Disney Company, Bob Chapek made quite the purchase with the acquisition of a $12.5 million estate in Westlake Village, approximately one hour northwest of downtown Los Angeles. The mansion is housed within a gated community that has 24/7 security and is home to a number of celebrity homes including Heather Locklear, Cooper Kupp, who plays for the LA Rams, internet celebrity Trisha Paytas, and WWE wrestler, The Miz. Chapek and his wife Cindy moved to the community from only a few blocks away, leaving their $5.3 million “starter home” behind for the new mansion in Westlake Village.

The Westlake home, which is a sprawling property features the single-story mansion that was largely custom-designed by original owner Ephram Nehme, a Lebanese immigrant and produce market owner and his wife. Located behind private gates and on a lot that covers about six acres of land as well as a five-car garage, the 10,000 square ft. property is largely hidden from the view of neighboring properties.
A walk to the front door of the home includes crossing a bridge that sits over a reflecting pool. Inside, the home features a beautiful kitchen with imported countertops, custom cabinet work, and crystal chandeliers (and the property features an outdoor kitchen, too.)

Additional looks at the home's interior show everything from a wet bar, to a library, and a fully mirrored gym. And, while the house is largely out of sight from the neighbors, the property offers its own expansive views.
