The EPCOT World Showcase Left These 10 Countries Out—Fans Aren’t Happy

The EPCOT World Showcase is a one-of-a-kind experience that brings global culture, cuisine, and creativity together in one magical loop around the World Showcase Lagoon. Guests can explore 11 unique pavilions representing countries like France, Norway, Mexico, and Morocco. But what about the countries left out?

With several open expansion plots and endless cultural inspiration, several nations would make incredible additions to the World Showcase. Here’s who we’re rooting for!

10. New Zealand

New Zealand is globally celebrated for its breathtaking landscapes and welcoming culture.

From Maori traditions to jaw-dropping scenery famously featured in The Lord of the Rings films, this island nation has storytelling potential written all over it.

What it could offer:

  • Traditional Maori performances
  • A recreation of Fiordland landscapes
  • Lamb-based dishes and Pavlova desserts
  • A Kiwi-inspired Quick Service kiosk

9. Thailand

Thailand, known for its golden temples, vibrant street markets, and world-renowned cuisine, would add a colorful and flavorful flair to EPCOT.

What it could offer:

  • A Thai palace facade with rich architecture
  • A boat ride inspired by floating markets
  • Dishes like pad Thai, mango sticky rice, and green curry
  • Live Muay Thai exhibitions or dance performances

8. Portugal

  1. I would like to see some homage to American Native Americans. They never get their just due.

  2. The country I would most like to see is India. Diverse culture , history , architecture and cuisine would make it an ideal addition. With a history that predates Greece and Rome it has quite a few different cuisines , religions , and a blend of British and Moslem architecture that is unique.
