Quick-Service Restaurants We Love at EPCOT

Walt Disney World hosts various dining options throughout the various Parks, Resorts, and nearby Disney Springs. You have full-service table options that encompass varying fun themes and menu offerings, along with all those convenient quick-service stops that are perfect for folks who are on the go. And let’s face it, most of us do tend to slip into that nonstop always-on-the-move mode at least part of the time during our visits to Disney World. Besides, even if you do have major dining plans at a sit-down designation for one of your day’s meals, it doesn’t mean you’ve covered the grounds for those other times you’re bound to work up an appetite. So, you go about your day deciding to grab something along the way in those instances.

EPCOT serves as the perfect example of a Disney Park that many folks can completely lose themselves in, with all of its versatility and different points of interest to take in. It’s really like multiple Parks all in one. Not only do you have the World Showcase Pavilion on one side, but there’s also the former Future World that is now split into the neighborhoods of World Celebration, World Discovery, and World of Nature. And it goes without saying that with all that there is to explore, you’re bound to want to grab something quick and convenient while out and about. Well, you’re in luck because we’re sharing with you nine exceptional quick-service options at EPCOT that we just absolutely love.

9. Connections Café & Eatery

Occupying the space of EPCOT’s former Electric Umbrella location, this newer establishment does double duty in covering your quick-service needs. In part, it is a Starbucks café, serving up all the selections the branded chain is known for, along with a few Disney-exclusive bakery treats. Then there is the eatery side, which presents fresh, globally inspired entrée enticements of many makings. From gourmet burgers to savory salads and even pizza, they certainly have you covered where all your vast and versatile tastes are concerned. There are also several unique dessert options and even libations.

Plenty of seating onsite can be found within the eatery for those looking to stop and sit awhile before getting that second wind to continue on.

8. Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe

This highly popular counter-service bakery and café rule the roost within the Norway Pavilion over at EPCOT’s World Showcase. Admittedly, they are perhaps most renowned for all of those sweet treat offerings, like their traditional School Bread—a custard-filled sweet roll dipped in coconut serving as one contested example. But they are also known for dishing up a host of other filling light bites of a Norwegian nature as well.

Place your order at the counter, and then take your goods with you as you go. Or, if you’re looking to sit a while to indulge in your recently acquired goods, there is convenient outdoor seating available under a covered patio.

7. Lotus Blossom Café

About the closest thing you’ll find in EPCOT to a Chinese food takeout option, this convenient quick-service stop is appropriately enough located within the World Showcase’s China Pavilion. It goes without saying that the menu consists of various Chinese food to-go entrée combos. From Orange Chicken to Mongolian Beef, Chicken Fried Rice to Vegetable Stir-Fried, the options aren’t as various as you would find at other locations but do serve the purpose of conveniently keeping you satisfied while making your rounds within EPCOT.

Open-air, covered seating is available to Guests on each side of the main ordering counter. It’s also worth noting that this venue is seldom overly crowded, and generally, there are no major lines to wait in at any given time of day.

6. Crêpes À Emporter by La Crêperie de Paris

The more recent extension to EPCOT’s France Pavilion has resulted in not only the new Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction but also a brand-new traditional creperie venue—La Crêperie de Paris. And what’s most interesting about the new table-service establishment is the fact that it features a connecting counter-service quick stop window—Crêpes À Emporter. And even better, the quick-service menu offers all the same delectable galettes as the main restaurant.

From sweet crepe concoctions to more “mealy” offerings that even include a special Ratatouille compilation of eggplant, zucchini, and tomato, it’s a convenient way to enjoy the savory standards in fine Brittany region inspirations even if you’re not looking to sit down for an extended length of time indoors at a restaurant.

5. Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie

Here’s another great quick-service stop to check out in the France Pavilion. Following the model of a traditional French bakery, this is the perfect place to get a little pick-me-up in the way of confections baked to perfection or even a light meal. They offer up a couple of changing soup and salad selections and an array of specialty sandwiches served on croissant rolls or between freshly baked baguette spices.

In addition to great eats and sweet treats, they’re also known for their wonderful array of drinks. Options in this category include both those of café and coffee specialties as well as more spirited selections, like imported regional wines.

Les Halles Boulangerie offers plenty of seating opportunities to Guests both directly inside the bakery dining room and outdoors for those looking to dine al fresco.

4. La Cantina de San Angel

On location within the Mexico Pavilion, this quick-service hit is by far one of the biggest crowd pleasers in all of EPCOT. Not only is it a most convenient go-to location to grab great grub, but the menu features a bountiful range of selections than far surpass your usual counter-service establishments. From the usual well-known favorites, like tacos and nachos, to delectable deliverances on such delights like their Arroz con Pollo Bowl and Empanadas con Queso, the quality of whatever you end up ordering is guaranteed to please you.

With its scenic location overlooking the World Showcase Lagoon, dining at one of the covered outdoor tables here affords you wonderful views. And the ceiling fans under the canopy keep you cool on the hottest days. It couldn’t get any more ideal than this.

3. Katsura Grill

Over at the Japan Pavilion, you’ll find this delightful designation which is perhaps one of the most beautifully blissful, quick-service venues to stop and stay a while at. While there is seating both inside and outside, the exterior is by far more spacious. What’s more, you will be right in the heart of the surrounding serenity of the gardens that the Pavilion is famous for.

While there is plenty to be said about the ambiance here, there’s also plenty to say about the many menu selections. In fact, it’s a bit surprising how long the list of options spans, as most counter-service establishments really don’t feature such a broad range of selections. But they certainly tend to have all grounds covered, from noodle and salad features to teriyaki dishes and so much more. And if you were wondering, yes, they do indeed have sushi here as well. They even have sweet sendoffs in the way of dessert, including their house Yuzu Cheesecake, along with Japanese spirits, like Sake, Plum Wine, and several other suggestions.

2. Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue

In celebrating the American Spirit and traditional barbecue at its finest, you should head on over to EPCOT’s American Adventure Pavilion to check out the many mouthwatering menu selections awaiting you at Regal Eagle Smokehouse. In emanating a timeless national spirit that’s both modern and old-fashioned in mood and setting, you will find plenty of palatable picks, perfect for filling you up with the needed fuel to continue on your way. From brisket to barbecue, burgers, and even a praise-worthy plant-based BBQ Jackfruit Burger, there are so many abundant eats awaiting you here.

And you’ll want a happy ending with dessert from their house, Banana Pudding or S’mores Brownie. Or perhaps a fresh watermelon cup will do just fine as a refresher. Other ways to cool off on a more spirited level include ordering one of many featured American-made libation offerings, like hard cider, ale, lagers, wine, beer, and more.

1. Sunshine Seasons

This has to be, hands down, what many folks visiting EPCOT would agree is the absolute best of the best of all quick-service locations. Housed on the lower level of the Land Pavilion, Sunshine Seasons just has so much in the way of menu offerings and numerous serving stations dishing out all the available goods. Because they keep hours in accordance to the Park, you can pretty much guarantee something great, whatever time you stop in. Think of it as the main eatery at your Resort. That’s a pretty good indicator in explaining the dual setup for either ordering a plated entrée or grabbing something quick on the go. But we have to say, their versatile offerings do outrank many eateries at even some of our most favored Disney Resorts.

It goes without saying that there is plenty of in-house seating surrounding the eatery. In fact, it’s pretty spacious, airy, and plentiful even at the most crowded times. There just aren’t enough words to express all the good things we want to say about Sunshine Seasons, except for the fact it is quite literally for everyone.

 These are just some of the many quick-service spots you can enjoy when out and about in EPCOT. Additionally, there are several others, along with notable table-service restaurants, both causal and more refined, you may want to explore. Dining at Disney can take so many different forms, and you’re sure to find what works best for you.
