Shouting Match at Disney Park Ends with Security Call and Furious Guests

Disneyland Resort is known for its magic, bringing joy to millions of visitors every year. With families from all over the world flocking to the park, it’s a place where dreams come true, and the spirit of fun fills the air. However, occasionally, even the happiest place on earth faces moments of tension that threaten to disrupt the atmosphere of magic.

In a recent incident at Disney California Adventure Park, a heated argument between guests escalated to the point where security was called to intervene. The confrontation, which took place in a dining area, was captured on video and has since gone viral, leaving many to question what should be done when conflict arises in such a family-centric environment.

The incident began when Disney influencer Amanda (@amandas_explorations) was seated near a group of guests. She was unaware that what started as a simple interaction would soon turn into a spectacle. Amanda described the situation, recounting how one woman in the group was loudly asking for directions to the bathroom.

Another guest in the group responded by yelling the directions, but her language was anything but family-friendly. Amanda, who was nearby, immediately began recording the scene as the behavior intensified.

Drama at Disneyland. She was screaming super loud to her friend where the bathroom is and was cussing. The table next to her told her this is a theme park and kids are around .

She went off on him and security came.

Would you mind the yelling and screaming and cussing cause it’s a theme park ?

As the shouting continued, Amanda’s video showed the situation growing worse. The woman began yelling even more loudly, clearly agitated by the request to tone down her language. It wasn’t long before the altercation drew the attention of other guests, and Disney security was called in to handle the escalating conflict.

The situation shocked many who watched Amanda’s footage, which quickly made its way across social media platforms. As the video spread, viewers expressed disbelief at the woman’s behavior, particularly in a family-focused theme park.

“It’s impossible for anyone to ‘mind yo own f***in’ businesssss’ when you’re screaming at the top of your lungs.”

Despite the chaos, security did not ask the woman to leave the park. Instead, they instructed her to stop shouting, but she was allowed to remain in the park. While Disney's security team is trained to deal with disruptive behavior, it seems this situation didn’t warrant an immediate ejection.

According to Disney’s guest behavior policy, guests are expected to show courtesy to others, and in this instance, security’s response appeared to focus on trying to de-escalate the confrontation without removing the guest from the park entirely.

Please show common courtesy to fellow Guests and our Cast Members by not using profanity or engaging in unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behavior, jumping lines or saving places in lines for others.

Many online commenters agreed with Amanda’s stance, pointing out that the woman's behavior was disruptive enough to warrant attention. Still, there were others who felt that filming such moments in public could cross an ethical line, especially when dealing with a conflict involving another guest.

One commenter shared their concerns, saying:

Now imagine how the situation would’ve went if she would’ve saw you filming ….. because if I would’ve saw someone doing that to me, I would’ve given Disney a REAL reason to kick me out especially given that mental health is a serious thing ?! filming somebody without their permission and posting it on the Internet should be illegal. That’s wild to use someone else’s breakdown as content.

Amanda filmed the whole situation, which she later defended, explaining that she was within her rights to record the incident. “She was not having a mental breakdown,” Amanda commented. “It’s a public park and I can film anyone as it’s legal.”

As the online discussion grew, several people weighed in on how Disneyland should handle disruptive guests. Many expressed disappointment that the woman wasn’t removed from the park immediately.

No. I would be the same way. Keep your trash talk at home. You are in a family atmosphere, especially Disney. You can hold back for the time you are there. Also starting a fight because someone ask for you to tone it down is also crazy. Just move on

While security did step in, the outcome left some wondering if further action should have been taken. As Amanda noted, the woman was not escorted out, but security was involved in bringing the situation under control. It seems that Disney security is trained to handle such incidents carefully, with a focus on resolving conflicts while maintaining the park’s overall atmosphere of fun and enjoyment.

In instances like this, it’s important to remember that Disney cast members are always there to help diffuse a situation. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, it’s best to report any disruptive behavior to a Disney cast member rather than confront the individual directly. After all, Disney’s primary goal is to ensure that all guests can enjoy their time in the park without interference.
